I don't get why people have such an aversion to people covering extremely famous songs and not singing them EXACTLY the way they were before. Isn't the point of cover for the artist to create their own rendition of the original, and not just copy it exactly as it was?

Yes we know the Beatles are amazing but i dont see anything wrong with doing a cover of their music. Their music was ment to inspire people and you can tell by the fray's performne that theyre inspired by this amazing music so why the hell not cover it?! <3 it

Sometimes the reason for the cover is because of the love and respect you have for the song. My daughters and I love this song, and so we did an acoustic cover of it (it's on my channel, check it out and let us know what you think!), but I would never say that our cover, or any cover is just as good as the Beatles.  That would be like Beatles blasphemy or something....

I love The Beatles version best and david Cook did an awesome job with this song but The Fray do it pretty well. They do it superbly Live tho.Cant think why they are better Live than in a studio(its what I think and they are my FAVE band!)
