Seems funny to think it now but I didn't like this the first time I heard it. I though it was too depressing. But then I remebered that Annie has a way of putting so much more feeling into her music than most other "artists" it deserved special listening time, to appreciate her deeper reaching qualities. Now I love it!

She is utterly irreplaceable.

she's a great artist and i would love to just sit down with her and have a heart to heart talk, one of character and brilliance... a conversation that is interesting, thoughtful, meaningful, and engaging.

I must say though that not many interesting interviews are done with Annie. The media people always ask her the same questions - they rarely ask her any good questions. No wonder artists hate doing interviews - they are all so mundane. It's time we had some good interviewers. i agree--but if you have not seen CHARLIE ROSE'S interviews with her then DO!--the best i have seen and i would hazard to guess that annie appreciates charlie as well as she pretty much says so in the interview. there are TWO--one after BARE and one after SOMD -enjoy:)
