who's 'Rick'? The singer/guitarist with all those wonderful sounds to her left is William Gallison...co producer/owner of the Album 'Got You On My Mind'. This was a joint production of theirs.
that's kinda weird that they would name the album after a song written by Howard Biggs and Joe Thomas, and performed by multiple artists over the years since it has been written, excellent rendition all the same
What a blast from the past. I heard this in the 50's and I would have been a girl. My uncle use to strum his guitar on the back porch and give his version, granted at a slower tempo! I love this version. Anne in New Zealand
I met Madi backstage in San Francisco about 15 months ago. She's very shy. She's much better singing in a studio. Carly Simon had the same problem early in her career.
Every Madeleine´s shows I see, she doesn´t have a good relationship to the audience. In the applauses she looks at the sides, to her guitar, her musicians, and never to the audience. Ok, it´s not necessaire. She´s the best anyway... And also the handsome Gallison. wow!!!
Yes that is William Galison playing guitar. Those two made a record together, "Got You On My Mind" which has this song and bunch of other good stuff. Excellent record, Peyroux at her best.
Fantastic - I just love Madeleine. Great voice, great song.

Great rapport with the band on a classic blues - she does look happy. She can look very fragile sometimes.
