I love his views on science and can't agree more. Science seems to be ever growing in authority and I don't think we should let science be our standard of limitation. I've always been told that if you can imagine it then it's possible. Our consciousness and creativity should set the standards and science a tool that helps us to accomplish our ambitions.
There is no such thing as the supernatural, only that the natural is more complex, sophisticated and peculiar than we know. I disagree with his conclusions on science. Science is a process, it will grow and emerge along with everything else.

Personally I think that science has brought enough benefit and problems to balance the two energy polarities out completely, and therefore becomes neutral.
I see science as a completely neutral catalyst, it seems at times to almost exclusively be a catalyst.
Of course science has "failed" if you were expecting it to solve all of our problems, it won't do that.
The real problem is the belief that science has all the answers and will completely save us, just that BELIEF is the problem IMO

This man is telling it how it is..
We don`t need them..but they need us to build their toys..so they can play and we can watch. When you understand that they use us, and alway make promises they never keep you have to ask what kind of friendship is that.. I had a friend who would invite me over to ride his dirt bike....I ended up watching all the time.. That was no friend. That was someone who wanted to show off.

when I reached the age of 47 I bought a Harley Davison..LOL I did have some other friends that would take me riding and let me ride the bike...when I was a teen.. Money was alway tight in my family growing up..So I didn`t get all the fun toys that many of the other kids around the neighbor hood ...Plus my mom hated dirt bike..( it to dangerous ) you know... LOL...So she wouldn`t even let me buy one when I lived at home..

I live in gilbert Az right now. We get a lot of UFO sighting around the Neighbor hood
I `m sure these are secret military projects.

We do have the power.But we don't seem too sure about the tool, which is necessary to discern reality from fantasy, and to recognise when they overlap too.Any tool has the tendency to restrain creativity. Individualism means you pick your tool yourself; hardly a tool on it's own. I prefer Science, although taken dogmatically by many is still extremely useful, and has checks against the individual's shortcomings.Most other tools are MORE dependent on the flaws of man and lack internal consistency

every time i hear drug induced terrance mckenna voice, shocks of really sick feelings of his unconscious pain waves through. Us non drug shamans reach the very subtle levels travel and vision with pure discernment and clarity. Something drug visionaries cannot.

Perhaps what you perceive as pain in Mckenna is really a projection of your own, stemming from your obvious jealousy of his wisdom and confidence. If you had the courage to experience the healing properties of psychadelics, you may realize that it's not about exclusivity of methods, which is really a very counterproductive and egotistical disposition to have.

Well then maybe our government should educate us on HOW to safely do drugs since they know we're gonna do them anyways... then maybe we wouldn't have as many idiots running around thinking they're superman and shoving various drugs down their throats.
