I got all the bolts out, but can't get to the electrical contacts. I don't see how I can get to the electrical contacts to undo them, and I don't know how I'll get them put back on. This thing is a nightmare to remove! I'm thinking of paying someone to finish the job. Thanks for posting this video. I was hoping there was some sort of trick I could learn. I guess there isn't.
i just did this myself,get a rhino ramp its much safer rather than a jack stand,availble on autozone, it has 3 bolts that hold it,unbolt the negative battery cable, unbolt the wiring for the motor,one 13 and 10 mm, unbolt the airbox, unbolt e 13mm bolts that hold it and presto,you got a starter out and bleeding knuckles goodluck!

I did one using a mechanics pit and it was the worst starter job I ever had to do.
