I just saw this at the Melbourne Film Festival. It is a brave and powerful film from one of the best directors working in film today. Brian De Palma might be in his 60s but he has lost none of his innovation and spirit of protest. A great and important film.

I'll admit that I haven't seen Redacted, but it looks like a piece of anti-war and anit-soldier propaganda. If you really want an unbiased war film about the Iraq war that doesn't whitewash soldiers or the war but at the same time doesn't vilify them see The Hurt Locker. All other major Iraq war films have been bias, preachy and/or cheesy. This is just downright offensive because because it exploits and exaggerates a real tragedy to advocate a political view .

I just saw this at the Melbourne Film Festival. It is a brave and powerful film from one of the best directors working in film today. Brian De Palma might be in his 60s but he has lost none of his innovation and spirit of protest. A great and important film.

The thing is that it´s easier to sell a movie about US army negligence than a movie about some Bosnian soldiers raping a Kosovar girl. I liked the movie and I´m not a traitor (I´m from Spain! haha!)

A very good movie which should help people to see what it`s really about.
I think that if the usa continues on this path, they will have the entire world standing up against them but they`re not that stupid now are they? They will finish this, wait till it`s history and continue somewhere else to enlarge their economy, influence, power and imperium. Just keep most of the people under-educated,induce major fear when the time is right and you`re good to go for another round.
