  • you sure that this is World Touring Car? looks more like BTCC

  • Comment removed

  • @waty0usay1 Yes and Radisich won it as he did the year before at Monza.

  • Audi 80 quattro competition with the film still riding on the roads, the rest of these cars, eat rust :P!

  • Happy memories :)

  • i miss those super-tourers, even when I never saw them driving...

races look so much better than nowadays and it was full of action in any race

  • What a curious thing seeing Tarquini and Muller fighting and knowing that, 16 years later, both of them are still fighting in Touring cars swapping the World Touring Car title... Many of the drivers we can see here made the History of the SuperTouring era, but very few of them are still racing at such a level...

  • great staff

  • FORD! My gosh, a lot of contact though.

  • 90' years was the best raicings....it is awsome man

  • Better racing than the present days.

  • by a country mile.. do they even race these days ? Its a joke. so are the cars.

  • FORD MONDEO 1#

  • that made me laugh.

  • an even better achievement when you think he used that same car couple ours earlier to race and win the toca shootout.

  • murray rules!! Haha Yvan Muller in a BMW hilarious

  • im no racing expert, but i believe someone got owned at 1:39 :P

  • That's pretty amazing Radisich had an offer to test drive for the Benneton team after this race...

  • Now he pulled off a superb skill by finishing 2nd overall. Now of course the V8s might be a different beast but I still think he's doing a great job. After all he is the only DOUBLE WORLD CUP CHAMPION who beat F1 and Touring Car drivers.

  • I'm sorry but you're wrong (imagunwithagun) Radisich is doing superb I have been a loyal fan since 93 and I really dissagree with your point about going backwards, if anything it's looking pretty sweet. Just today (20th Jan 08) he secured another set of podiums. Also with regards about the rain races he is a pro because especially in 95 on a soak drenched Brands Hatch he Qualified 4th but was pushed into a spin on lap 1 and went down to last(28th)he finished 2nd overall.

  • great upload mate!can anybody find Mat Neal's first championship win?now that was an epic race!

  • Why don't they do this now, an end of season, best from each country mega-race? I know there is race of champions but it's not the same really.

  • Cheers for uploading the rest of this fantastic race. Never seen the footage before and boy is it all action. I especially like it because my touring car hero paul Radisich wins the race. I know it's a bit cheeky but I don't suppose you have the 1993 world cup in Monza by any chance? Have a good one matey ;)

  • What's funny, and i'm sorry to dissapoint you, but ever since Radisich joined the V8 Supercars (Australia), he was simply another name in the mix. His best season was his first, where he nearly won Bathurst (biggest even in Australian motosport), in 99...other then that, he is a mid-to-low pack driver.

  • I guess you have a point to an extent, his best championship years was 1999-2001 and it did go a bit wrong in the later years. Although now he seems to be getting back to winning ways. Like at the last endurance rounds in 07 he got on the podium with Kelly. He was unlucky at Bathurst but at least the Holden Team have signed him up again. If he gets a good car under him he's still got it. Just look at his New Zealand V8 record which he dominated the last two rounds and is now title favourite.

  • I've been pretty surprised to hear how unexceptional he's been in Ozzy tin-tops. He was absolutely world class back in the super-tourer days of the BTCC, even showing Andy Rouse the way in the 93/94 Mondeo. As far as I'm concerned he's one of the best touring car drivers of the past twenty years... obviously the big V8s don't agree with his style.

  • It's not that we dis-agree...but this 'style' of his has done nothing. I haven't seem him pulled any spectacular passes, he had a really great car in 99 under DJR, but he seems to have done the opposite of most race car drivers, go backwards rather then forwards...and yes it's true, he is coming good with the enduro's, and holden has signed him up. But i don't think he will do anything this season either...I loved playing toca touring cars on playstation, radisich was a backpacker =S.

  • But I think v8's being a rear wheel drive and a more powerfull car then what he's use to, he can't match up...Driving in the wet i thought he'd be a real pro seeing as though NZ and Britain rained in a lot of races...But he seems to be off with every rain race.
