  • I just adore your videos... It is very unfortunate for me that I am in australia. I had a beautiful dog that was put down and i wish that I had someone like you that would have been able to help me. I found that there was no one really here in melbourne that would touch a domestic pet (big husky-looked like a wolf) This is something that I would love to learn..

  • @MissIshii Thank you for the kind words. If you want to learn taxidermy, watch my videos, then, ask any questions you want. I have had to put down two of my dogs too. It's horrible. They are such good buddies, but, have such a short life. I taxidermied one pet one time. I'll never do another. It's too hard. If you knew what a taxidermist had to do to your pet in order to mount it, you wouldn't want to put him/her through it. Seriously. I'm very sorry for your loss. - Rick

  • where do you get the foam head at?

  • McKenzie Taxidermy Supply or Rhinehart Taxidermy. - Rick

  • Sounds like the lips didn't get tucked in right. Should be very little space after you tuck the skin up. Then, after shrinkage, the lips wouldn't need to be filled in. Hide glue and pin while it's drying helps prevent that space also. - Rick

  • Do you put anything in the lip crack after you have them all tucked in? My First Mount has what looks like black putty or something along that sorts in the lip crack. Thanks
