Ira what a wonderful video. I must say, I thought it was cute when your Mom asked to wash her hands afterwards. My Mom is 80 and she's the same way. I'd love to see my Mom ride a subway, just once.
I don't miss commuting every day to work as the subways were always crowded - esp in the morning. But on weekends when they were not as crowded, they were fun to ride in.

Do you have any more old subway footage? The 1904 one is the only one I have seen on YouTube. I love the subway from some reason. As someone who left New York in 1988 it has been some time since I have ridden one. Thanks for the post!

Wonderful scenes. Reminds me of my NY days.
