I sure hope that they will have a civilized debate about legalizing and taxing marijuana in california without the sarcasm and joking that we heard from the white house press secretary. Its about time we take legalization seriosly in California and the rest of the country. Thank Tom Amiano for bringing this issue to the table, although he is looking for someone to back him up on the proposal of the mj legalization and taxation bill. He is very brave and wise for coming forward with this issue.

people on the big island, hawaii voted majority for maijuana to be the least of the police's priority. meaning they get no federal funding for eradication. this happened around november.

yah i have, not sure whats gonna come of it. but even if a state were to legalize and tax, would it still not fly under federal law?

that's the big problem...the feds. it's bullshit how "we the people" really have no voice in the matter. i'm sure our founding fathers are turning over in their graves...you know... the ones who farmed hemp and drafted the two most important documents in the history of this country on hemp paper.
