  • I like it !

  • Why did it have to end D= Oh, wait. I can repeat it :D

  • They make such beautiful music without even moving :O Now that's talent!

  • I`m only 15 years old, but my dream is to one day enter the church at my wedding with this music playing 1:44

  • Beautiful music. Don't understand why there are 34 dislikes. Guess some people can't appreciate this masterpiece. I believe this piece would last throughout the generations.

  • @TRGRice

I think the 34 people ought to be shot and vapourise to cosmic dust..

  • Just beauiful, thats all there is to say

  • The way this song builds up, it feels like you can soar... beautiful...

  • Snifff

  • This song makes me feel like I can do anything: even fly to the moon.

  • an acoustic guitar version of the song

    v=9eTodyzHmRk

  • love this song it almost made me cry

  • Hemels...Heavenly...

  • The most beautiful version of Pachelbel's Canon I've ever heard O_O STUNNED.

  • I first heard this while listening to the great (sadly late) John Peel's "Night Ride" rock music show on BBC Radio 1. He said he listened to it every night before he went to bed and who would blame him? Ironic to think that it was a rock music presenter who first turned me on to baroque music! The version he played was by the Jean-Francois Paillard Chamber Orchestra - and you can find that one on YouTube too.

  • If Pachebael would alive, probably he would kill all the people who clicked dislike button

  • thank you for giving me hopeness . i got energy after listening to this

  • I find it amusing that people get so angry at people calling this a wedding song when, in actual fact, there is evidence that suggests Pachelbel composed this for Bach's wedding in 1694, so it actually IS a wedding song.

  • 31 dislikes aagh!!! the work of a genius makes modern chart music sound terrible they wont be playing olly murs in 200 years time

  • Great & Beautiful !

  • damn it <3 the music so much!

  • Great music, very Satanic in nature: soft, soothing and thought-provoking. It's the Lord Satan's way. Worship Lucifer, your saviour. Christianity/atheism/any other bollocks is not going to do anything for you. Join the circle of light. Pachelbel, just like us, was a satanist.

  • @DrKildem You're joking, right?? Please tell me you're joking. It's hard to accept that someone can be as retarded as this, so I'm praying that you're joking.

  • @JNoshima92

"...so I'm praying that you're joking."

    Pray to Lord Lucifer.

  • @DrKildem Either you're trying to troll by making yourself look like a retard or you're actually a retard. I'm not quite sure which yet. :/

  • @JNoshima92 Don't be fooled by christian propaganda. Satan's the good guy.

  • i do piano right now and i am not that good but i really want to learn this song so i am going to make it my goal to be this good one day and learn this song

  • @XxAmanda1305xX I actually learned how to play a simpler version of Canon in D.

It's actually pretty easy, and satisfying to play.

  • @PumpkinMau5

really where did you find the sheet music for the version you learned

and thanks if u find out where u learned it could u tell me where you got the music?

    :D

  • It really needs an instant replay button... I can listen to it forever....

  • -c

  • and for all the britisch people here , no I am not german, but dutch!!!!!!

  • ik heb niet voor niks geen TV

  • die kut commercials wordt ik gek van!!!!

  • i heard some of canon's performances in youtube. and this is the BEST of the best :) i cried when i hear this :'( extremely touching and wonderful

  • I will keep listen to it every day until it reach 1mil views. My son will keep listen to it until it reach 100 mil. my grand son do the same until it reach 1bil. I will die, either my son or grand son but not this, not this song...

  • Pure Form of Music. Art.

  • im crying 1:54 :" it's extremely touching

  • When the song reaches the part at 2:13 I get goosebumps :)

  • Love it ..my only child..daughter had it for wedding in 1996..nothing like it..

  • Heaven MUST sound like this.

  • I play league of legends to this haha

  • 30 dislikes? Must be Satan and his 29 children ;')

  • @cybervigilante 31 dislikes, gotta throw in Hitler now.

  • No, I don´t think Satan will dislike this

  • 30 people missed the like button. This song is beautiful and goes down in history as one of the greatest pieces of music ever composed. I like all kinds of music, so dont call me a fanboy, I love metal, rap, everything really. But this, this speaks volumes. This is an art form.

  • im a teenager and I really love listening to this piece!

  • You guy's ROCK

  • Sheet Music at imslp.org Search by composer, look for Pachelbel. (Vote up to share this music with other viewers)

  • Looks like Teenagers disliked this :/

  • @PokeMaster134 Shame. When I was a teenager, I enjoyed this music sooo much. And now that I'm 22, I still do!

  • @DanielaClapp yes indeed my friend.

  • Very beautiful version. I think I have arrived in Heaven. Thank you for posting this, you made my day :) ....and for the rest of you on here, quit fighting! Music is to build community and help overcome insurmountable obstacles, not drive us apart and it's not supposed to make us angry. Just enjoy it for what it is, don't judge and don't interpret, just let the healing music bring some hope and light to your heart. Try it, it works...trust me!!!

  • @DanielaClapp Well said

  • @DanielaClapp Mayonnaise! I mean, so very true...

  • That's ucking beautiful, pure good feelings, keep faith in humanity even if all the people around you are assholes. PEACE MOTHERUCKERS AND ENJOY MUSIC

  • why did people dislike this...??? its so beautiful!

  • awwwww this music is so beautiful..parchebel you big softy you

  • Music like THIS is how my ears get laid.

  • This Sick Beat is so good! I want to play it at my wedding.

  • So beautiful. It brings me to tears....

  • Just....Beautiful.

  • I may be just another teen who doesn't know squat about music but I think this is beautiful. I mean no disrespect to anyone but I consider anything relating to music, if it is complete, a song. It shouldn't really matter what it is called as long as people are enjoying it and listening to it. I love all kinds of music, one of my favorite songs is actually Ode to Joy. As long at the listener is finding pleasure then what it is reffered to shouldn't matter. Then again, I'm just another teen.

  • @Lilmszen couldn't agree more, the world needs more people who think this way

  • @Lilmszen really a peaceful inner world!

  • @Lilmszen

i love Ode to Joy my favorite song is Pachelbel's Canon

  • @Lilmszen You're wise for saying that. Most teens (or individuals your age) would be raving Justin Bieber, etc, etc, (what non-sense do kids listen to these days)? Anyways, I'm glad you have respect for classical music. You might want to check out Trans-siberian orchestra. Their take on classical music (e.g. Beethoven, Mozart, etc) is awesome. Thanks for sharing that. Made my day reading your comment. :)

  • @Lilmszen You, "just another teen" should be proud of yourself for recognizing the beauty of this song, and the other classics that you like. You were very profound in your observance that as long as the listener gets pleasure from the song, that's all that matters. Kudos to you, and may you always be so open-minded!

  • So sorry but the first time I heard this piece it was for psychiatric commercial

  • this is nice... i bet u justin bieber wont listen to this classic piece....

  • this takes me back to a happy time in my life. i'd get home from school and my sister would be playing this on her violin. lifes never been so bad but i just spent 5 minutes in a much better place

  • just plain love this piece...

  • Sing "Graduation" by Vitamin C to Canon and tell me it doesn't almost fit perfectly. Conspiracy much? Lol!

  • Music that kids nowadays don't appreciate anymore..

  • @wae9kang Really? I'm a kid that very much enjoys this music. Don't base your assumptions on majorities.

  • @wae9kang Trust me I'm a kid as well, and me and majority of my friends appreciate this music. The problem with kids today is not that they don't appreciate it it's that they're stuck on listening to the music of today.Their ears are not trained to listen to the various notes and sound of Classical Music. If you grow up listening to rap your going to listen to rap in the future but if you open your ears to classical you'll learn to appreciate every aspect of it and that's what kids are missing

  • I think this composition is beautiful for a wedding but it's also lovely just to enjoy it as it is. I wouldn't mind it being a tiny bit slower though, I don't like it when it feels "rushed" if you know what I mean?

  • ONLY classical music piece that i like.

  • I'd my favorite piece of music by far. I listen to it everyday. This is a piece I think would be played in heaven. It will be played in live orchestra at my wedding. I will pay any price.

  • love pachelbele's canon one of the most beauiful peices of music ever written.

  • I play this daily on piano, flute, cello, violin or violia addicted to this piece of music

  • awesome, love it.

  • this isn't played with a full orchestra. This is played with a string orchestra...

  • pachelbel jest genialny

  • Windstruck!

  • Looks like 27 Jamaicans and clicked on 'dis I like'.

  • it is just beutifull if it is slow, too many peoplay play it fast.

  • very beautiful

  • essa é a minha musica quando eu estiver me casando!!!

  • Beautiful piece. Thank you for sharing it with the world

  • i like this

  • @laurensb1b You'd call it a piece, a piece of music or even a work.

A song is a type of music, which isn't this :)

@luminara1unduli But there's really no problem with referring to it as 'song,' everyone understands what you mean and it's easier than writing 'piece of music' all the time!

About the wedding thing, it isn't a wedding song, but it's a beautiful piece of music so why not have it at a wedding. I'm sure Pachelbel would be overjoyed everyone loved his music so much!

  • @samwige9on9the9left Thanks :)

  • I hate this song, but I don't. You get me.

  • TAKE A LOOK AT THIS VIDEO :IMAGINE 106 PEOPLE FROM 30 COUNTRIES THAT NEVER HAVE SEEN EACH OTHER BEFORE PLAYING CANON IN D AT : virtual symphony v 1.0

  • it IS not a song. it is a peice, what do you do to a song? SING IT!!

  • The song is without a doubt heavenly... what i didn't know about this was that it was well off played mostly as a wedding song... it was a real laugh when I remember attending a funeral while listening to this song in my mp3!

  • It's really not that serious

  • yes it needs more cow bells and low frequencies to be urgmented

  • luminara lol.. Happiest day of someones life i'm sure they're aloud to choose whatever song they want and get away with calling it their wedding song. And does it matter what people call it.. I personally will call it a Tune if i have to.

  • @remenisionz I believe calling it a "wedding song" (also, calling it a "tune" is also unacceptable, it's not Yakety Sax for Heaven's sake) is an insult to the composer, who put a lot of effort into creating this lovely piece...and the poor man wrote it with the intention of it being chamber music, not some cheap melody any ol' Joe can play at his wedding. It's respecting the creator and his vision.

I also can't understand why it's so hard to just call it a Canon. It's even in the title.

  • @luminara1unduli I think Pachelbel (who would otherwise be forgotten were it not for this Canon [which was originally paired with a 'forgotten' Gigue]) would be grateful and would feel honored to know his Canon is probably one of the most recognizable, used, and beloved Baroque works extant, regardless of what it is called, and how or by whom it is used.

  • @luminara1unduli Hell! And I came here on a Boots Randolph link.

  • @luminara1unduli I personally can call it whatever i like lol, unless your going to stop me from using freedom of speech. yeah it's a lovely piece i know that i never said it was diabolical. And i think that if he was alive he'd be happy that thousands/millions of people play this song at their wedding's because he would be glad his music is getting out there. Just for you i'm thinking of calling it a Sick Beat.

    It's all good.

  • @remenisionz ¶ Why don't us (free to think free) do a MASS Performance of a particular favorite "SONG" once this "DIM LIGHT" has EXTINGUISHED and likely reduced to PARTICULATES PRECIPITATING on this 12,800 km diameter ASHTRAY that we RESIDE on.

TONS of other STARDUST fall here everyday (plenty of WATER too, so we could be a Divine URINAL too).

    DIRT + WATER + LIGHT(heat) >>> LIFE.

Don't Like? Blame the CREATOR when you leave!

[s]He has a COMPLAINT DEPARTMENT already WARMED UP!

  • @remenisionz

Than i'm free to ask you to GTFO, moron

  • @remenisionz will have this played at my funeral

  • @luminara1unduli awesome username :)

  • @luminara1unduli ¿A lot of effort? ¿Into an 3-voice imitative canon? He could have used the sheet to wipe his ass... And he didn't put so much effort in the bass, as any cello player would tell you xD

And for God's sake, this have a gigue... Why never, nobody, plays the poor, poor gigue? It's also truly good!

  • 27 people listening to Justin Bieber

  • 27 people think this needed more cowbell.

    Great rendition, BTW

  • I might get married if I find a woman that reminds me of this music. Beautiful, playful and romantic.

  • It appalls me how everyone considers this a "wedding SONG" instead of a wonderful piece of classical music. Pachelbel must me rolling in his grave!

AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP CALLING IT A SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @luminara1unduli I agree, this is a classical music, people who calls it "wedding song" has down syndrome.

  • @luminara1unduli so true....and LOL!

  • @luminara1unduli true. :)

  • @luminara1unduli love this track!!!! love it!!!

  • @luminara1unduli song song song song song song song song song song song song song song song song song song song song song song song song song song song song song song. wtf is a song.

  • @luminara1unduli Totally agree.

  • @luminara1unduli I am very unfamiliar with Baroque or any classical music, but what is the proper name for a piece of music like this, if I cannot call it a song.

  • @laurensb1b

    A piece.

  • @laurensb1b it is a Canon.

  • @laurensb1b a piece of music...

  • this is one of the most beautiful compositions I`ve ever heard, infact the best to be honest. its very peaceful and emotional at the same time SO i totally understand why u are appalled at the general categorization of wedding song. But ive always pictured the wife to be walking down the isle to Canon in D. (guess even guys can be hopeless romantics deep down.

  • @luminara1unduli umm no... song, melody, music shut up and listen

  • @luminara1unduli it's only because it was in father of the bride. I have to admit that it way my wedding song!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @luminara1unduli shut up bitch

  • @luminara1unduli this is a really cool wedding song

  • @luminara1unduli Please get over the label. The fact is , that the knowledge that there are new listeners to the classics, and that a well known piece draws them to it is hope!

  • @luminara1unduli it was written for a wedding, tho it obv isnt a song

  • @luminara1unduli ¶ I SECOND THE MOTION THAT HE CAN CALL IT A SONG (sans lyrics, mindLESS EWE) This PEACE is also popular for funerals, let me know when YORE DEAD (et alia) & AYE think a bunch of us (BANANAS) will SURELY play to HASTEN FORGETING about IGNORANT NESCIENT BOVINE PHILISTINES like PRETENTIOUS SANCTIMONIOUS BEHOLDERS of "Beauty for ALL that you PROFESS to be (GONE!!) Where YULE be GOING, the DEITY "won't be amused"

I leave your FATE to the GRAND DESIGNER - S. Hawking

  • I guess 27 people are haters towards weddings. =(

  • @ImaRsPlyer Its not a wedding song, Pachelbel didn't intend this to be a wedding song.

  • awesome

  • 754,686 and counting!!! >;->

  • Marriner with the Academy of St. Martin's in the Field are just magic, and it really shows in this piece. Their version of Vivaldi's Four Seasons is just outstanding too, just about my favorite.

  • WOOOWWW that wz fantastic keep goin very good

  • This is an amazing piece of music. I've loved it in all its versions for ages and have it in my mobile phone as a ring tone. :-) Thank you for uploading.

  • I forgot about rhyme... Now You need only dress let's go without it to church and get bless! Sorry if it isn't correct grammar but english is not my leading language.

  • @popcorn131286 i sure if you cant find a man a woman with an oversized clit will do. say 4inches with a 2 inch girth.
