I literally screamed. Garden spiders may be harmless, but they can get huge. We had a lot of them where I grew up, and their webs would reach from the tree limbs to the grass... so you'd be walking along all la-de-da and suddenly there's a life-size web right in front of you! So not ok. Sooooo not ok. They're great for killing other bugs though. =)
