i have no idea what you just said but i needed another space to reply as i used the posting space already, but hashimoto rules. i can't believe he pulled off a flying dropkick.
He was probably the best at combining martial arts moves and pro wrestling moves. None of it looks forced or unnatural for him. He could deliver a kick to the head, a leg sweep, as good as he could a DDT or a brainbuster.
I feel bad that i never knew about him before he died. the first time i heard about him was in a 90 minute interview with Steve Corino from The Wrestler. It was after that that i began looking him up on youtube.
R.I.P Hashimoto - Kenta Kobashi may have created Strong Style...but you established it better in every way, to me you'll never be gone as you'll always be in my heart
ok, Strong Style is a japanese wrestling that mostly New Japan Pro Wrestling is based around of...if anything, New Japan created strong style..dont know if its Inoki himself or not
in All Japan during the 90s, where Kobashi, Misawa, Kawada, and other are in...their style is based around the King's Road style
I met Hashimoto once during indy show and he lived up to every expectation i had and more, i met other wrestling stars before and most turned out to big let downs, One of the Greatest of all time..SHINYA HASHIMOTO!!!
Shinya Hashimoto was one of my favorites; his career lasted so long, because his wrestling style barred him from having serious injuries. He embodies the term, "Strong Style Spirit." It's a shame that he passed away, but he passed away a fighter and a champion till the very end.

感動しました!三銃士の中でも最後の切り札と言った形で抜群の安定感があり最後は必ず橋本選手が新日を締める様な感もありました。白いハチマキと闘魂伝承ガウンの姿は今でも眼に焼き付いています!

one thing I found very touching was that after his death several friends paid tribute to him in other competitions, for instance:
-when Chono reched the finals of the 2005 G1 Climax, he used the "Bakusho Sengen" intro
-when Naoya Ogawa faced Hidehiko Yoshida at PRIDE Shockwave he used this song as entrance
-and obviously in Wrestle Kingdom 2006, after the main event

My favorite Shinya Hashimoto match was the one against Riki Choshu back in August 1996; that was a stiff match.
