I would give it 7/10 points mostly because of the environment and the sandbox style. Gameplay itself is not really that good. I find it annoying that I have to waste a full AK magazine on one enemy and weapons start jamming way too easily. Every enemy is carring an old easily jamming weapon so you cant use theirs for very long. Second thing I dont is guardposts. It's actually a great idea itself though there are too many guardposts in the game and all soldiers respawn after 100m passed.

the missions are very repetitive. but the graphics, physics, and free roam definately make up for this. if you choose to play the game fast and quick, you end up driving into enemy camps and begging for a fight. if you take it slow and strategic its a blast. ive played for over 10 hours and im only 8% through. this game is so addicting i love it. finding all the diamonds and scouting all the camps. completing all of the side missions and assassinations. personally i think this game is 9/10
good even review but honestly do u think this is assassin's creed with guns? or is it worth getting cause if i knew what A C would be like i never would of goten it not even for free.
perhaps what should of been does is 1 get rid of gun jamming or at lest most of it. 2 reduce map size because 50km isnt gr8 if only like 1 or 2 has anyting in it 3 give a wider vary for type of missions. 4 get a new phone dont tell ur buddies and c if they magically quess the number if so kill them!
good review, i thought some of your points were a bit petty like the buddys phoning you n stuff and also you say that the missions are repetative but the same is true for GTA 4 and that's still an awesome game, thanks for the review though
There were only a few repetitive missions in GTA IV imo. Mostly Brucies and Stevies car missions, since it's essentially the same thing each time, just a different car.
GTA IV does get boring after a while, but boring does not equal repetitive.
well... a large amount of the missions revolve around going to a meeting or deal, the deal goes wrong then you chase the person down and kill them... still a good game but yeh.. alot of the missions are repetitive
If i told you everything that *I* liked about the game, it wouldn't be a review... It would be a promotional video. Instead, I chose to present the positive and negative facts to the viewer. It's up to you to weigh the differences and decide for yourself.
To be honest Im a bit dissapointed tho with fc2. Its a great game still, like the graphics, Map editor, many different approach for every mission, etc etc but its actually reminds me of Grand Theft Auto, only its slightly different environment and features. Its repetitive game, after a while in the game you'll find nothing new. You'll get tired driving around back and forth. Not like any normal FPS game, furhter you are in the game you'll see something new. Well thats my 2 cents =D..Peace

theres only 2 times of use enemy weapons, in the start, were most of your good conditioned weapons, are a pistols, mabye a machinegun.
and when yuor stuck behind enemy lines, whit 8 shooting at you, and you only got 7 pistol rounds, and a grenade left...

No. Maps you create can only be used in multiplayer environments.

i been playing far cry 2 for about 9h.
and i give single play 9.7 of 10.
hawnt tried map editor or multiplayer yet.
this is what i expect from a fps.
no stupid puzzles just straight on shooting and burning stuff.
one of the best shooters.
