  • I sincerely thank you for your service to God. Thank you

  • Makes me imagine Jenny Lind. Thanks, Lutheran nightingale!

  • One of my favorites that we sing in church. Done beautifully!

  • Beautiful performance of a wonderful hymn. It made me cry.

    i love youuuuu

  • Admission to the school/Church is by grace (Just as you are!) but admission to the workplace/kingdom is with qualification.

  • This is one of the hymns my mother used to play and sing. Often after I was in bed. I always felt at peace when she was playing those hymns. I never told her that, maybe I should write that on the mothers day card.

  • i love this song and again such a great voice!! keep singing! God Bless :)

  • I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (January 9), I played this for Sunday School assembly.

  • Where is the LOVE button??? You are great!!!

  • Just beautiful....her countenance shines through her singing truly melodic.....:)

  • you are so talanted should sing more like such songs ..let god use you more for his ministry and to make comfort many others thru your voice GOD BLESS..

  • @LesterChirayath777 Thank you! If God can use me and these hymns to bring comfort and hope to people, through His Word and promises, then I will continue to sing away!

  • She get's it! The song is all about a simple surrender/self-delivery to Christ, I come, I come. Wonderful!

  • @brucelohmann On my own, I am dead in my sins and can do nothing; but I can do all things through Him who strengthens me!

  • Nice! I was humming the bass line the whole song ;-)

  • @trumpmech

Thanks! I love singing the other voice parts, too. I'm actually an alto, so it's fun to sing the melody for a change. We altos and basses are very under-appreciated!

  • @LutheranWarbler

That's one reason I like having multiple verses- you can sing a different part each time around! It's fun to have a wide vocal range.

  • @trumpmech Completely agree! I don't have much of a vocal range, but that doesn't keep me from trying all the voice parts. Singing in church is great because you can hit clunky notes and nobody bats an eye!

  • @LutheranWarbler Well you might be right, but almost all known pop artists are altos! I think you must be alto 1 (not contraalto) listening to your voice.

  • @karpov89 I will bow to your expertise on that one. My choir only has two altos, so we can't really split up the section!!
