To all the newbs unable to use unable to change r/w make sure you have usb debugging checked in development settings.

I followed your video perfectly after rooting. When rebooting into recovery it still says unable to verify file to do the reinstall packages. I've done it every possible way. The only thing different with my phone is that my system and system/bin folders won't let me set them as r/o they are locked at r/w. I have only tried to change it to r/o through root explorer. I don't know what to do.

i replaced the original recovery file with this one and now when i restart the phone it's stuck at the Samsung screen. Is there anyway to fix that, i might've bricked the phone =(

i followed the exact instructions on my samsung infuse 4g and it does not work...when i reboot the 3e recovery is still there and not the modded one either...it still will only accept signed zips :( any help plz...

@TheAndroidNerd YOU MUST CHANGE THE PERMISSIONS AND MAKE THEM THE SAME AS THE ORIGINAL FILE.

It wont let me change permissions, ill change them, but they wont stay changed, they keep going back to what they were, i am rooted i have Busy box and super user, it says its monted as R/W but ill past things in and it says opperation has failed....

how do i fix?

Question on when you change the original recovery to recovery.bak is that the file you want to use to return to the stock rom in cwm? I am currently running infused rom but if I need to take my phone in and bring the phone back to stock. what do I do?
