I love the original by 3EB, even though this version could never come close to it, i can admit that the lead singer of this band does a great job minus the screaming part (im just not a fan of the huge deviation of the original, no offense to anyone or his vocals). I would like to hear this band do the entire 'Wounded' song cover just normal, just curious to hear how it sounds, im sure it would get much more props from hardcore 3EB fans.

No, it isn't. Emo(short for EMOCORE) is emotional hardcore and therefore anything BUT gay/wussy really, assuming you know what hardcore is(unlikely), it's a form of heavy punk, bordering on metal, and emocore is just the same but with real emotion.
