I definetly recognized 'Sam Hill' and the Uncle..but not Susan Oliver...oh yeah and the Bride of Frankenstein of course! LOL..For a moment I thought this was an episode Bill was in. I do remember him being in another scary show where there was this evil statue of his character's ancestor that looked like him and his wife bought it..that was so scary!!! Shudders.
Yeah, I had all his episodes, also from Tales from the Darkside (he takes his boat out and in the storm finds he has time-traveled, cool episode) Tthe one you're talking about is called "Last Rites for a Dead Druid" with Carol Lynley (TM guest star) and he also was in "The Return of the Sorcerer" with Vincent Price, now THAT one is scary! Satanism & an Arabic text (he has to translate).
Yes, I remember the one with Vincent Price, too satanic for me! ooh! OOOH...Time travel!!! I would love to see that episode! Elsa Lanchester played the original bride of Frankenstein with Boris Karloff, you know, with the big high hair and white streak? lol.
No way that was HER?? Wasn't she hot back then? I forget. Yes and I think he time travels from 1973 or 74 to the past. It's pretty cool. Unfortunately I think my VHS has been in the heat way too long. And I can't convert VHS to DVD. So it's probably ruined by now. Wonder if TFTDS put out the DVD? He is very Tony Blake like in that! :-)
If I ever come across the series, I'll let you know. :) I may know someone who might have it, if they have that series. I'll get back to you on that one. I am able to burn dvds at home, but not convert the vhs-dvd..I usually would take it to a store and pay 25 bucks! gah! Yes, Elsa was a pretty lady, but they never used her as the 'leading' lady, too bad.
I apologize, I made a mistake. The real title is: "Tales of the Unexpected" I had a feeling so I went to IMDb. I doubt that is out. Such a rare show. It was a very poignant episode with another great Bixby performance. Would love to see it again! I forget how it ends.
Crap!

TP: thanks, glad you enjoyed that screen cap. It is from Man on Fire, as I'm sure you must know.

Sam, Todd's screen time was so short. I adore anything you post with him.
