hello, "hwtnv"...I am alo creating Google Earth tours with fraps, it´s a great tool, but one thing is driving me mad...It is capturing everythig on screen, when I am recording it, except balloon´s descriptions...in your vidio, it is doing the same...have you got an idea, why it is doing like that?? I am lost in that thing...please help me...

@Tjuniors23 Hello, I am using Japanese freesoft "Bandicam". Fraps cannot capture contents in balloons, I think.

@hwtnv also a great tip :) thank you very much...I think, that the problem is in Google Earth, because when you open a balloon, and then you´ll press Ctrl+Alt+S (save picture) the result is same -->no description...it´s crazy...

Make sure the "Terrain" layer is turned on in Google Earth to see the terrain in 3D.

Hi, Perhaps your PC's graphic card is not optimized to draw 3D graphics of Google Earth 5.0. You should wait more update of GE or download latest driver of graphics card...

and GE plus or pro don't have better resolutions for screen. Pro version has only high-reso for printing. But GE Pro has movie maker, I usually use it.

Ah okay. Glad I don't have to spend money then.
The thing is, it's happening on two different computers and they both used to run the Grand Canyon just fine. I haven't changed my video card at all, or my drivers...
it's infuriating.

No. The free version of Google Earth has the best available imagery and terrain.

Hey man,
can you tell me why the Grand Canyon doesn't look this good anymore?
I've tried EVERYTHING... :( all I get now is a blurry shitpile.
It used to look great like yours. I downloaded 5.0, I haven't turned any settings down, but it just looks awful.
Historical Imagery looks okay but it's in black and white.
Any ideas?
