I feel that some of those gears in that clock tower are set too high in the game because when I try to jump on top the ninja does a back flip.

It can happen. You just have to hit it at a good spot.

In th boss fight was that the dragon sword? And how did you do those moves when you where in the air an owning that guy?

And is Ninja gaiden sigma only for the ps3?

Yes.

You can do that by jumping towards an enemy within range, then press heavy attack 3 times(your sword must be at level 3 for 3 strikes). You can also do the same 3 attacks out of the windrun(X+A).

The scythe works extremely well on him. I'd go with the one that does the most damage.
