Wow, I love the textures. Mine never turn out so...good looking. You seem fond of the smudge tool, don't you? Why did you go over the hair so many times? It seemed like you just re-did it like, four times. Oh, well, perhaps that's why yours is so good and mine look embossed. And I commend you for only using one layer. I use, like, 10 for each subject on the picture...

I'm extremely picky and I'm a perfectionist, so I wanted the hair look as real and fluffy as possible, but still remain that animeish/cartoonish look to it. And yeah, smudge is great if you only have one layer, and it's a great tool if you only paint with yout mouse and on low resolution like I did. The original resolution is just the same as the picture on my DA page. =| I've never been fond of layers for some reason, lol.

It was done with mouse, and the clip is only an hour long in reality.

The original vid is over 1h 17mins and it took me around 20 - 30 mins for the sketch. Add another hour for the first half of the painting, so around 3 hours in total.

Thanks. And he is dreamy, eh? =D Even if I say so myself, but my dream guy would be something like that. Now where the hell am I going to find a pointy eared blondie?
