  • you know the childcatcher scared me even more because of this song.... brrr it's horrifing :D

  • If this was made in 2011 it would be banned because of him

  • its scary how well this works together, the childcatcher is so creepy he scares me

  • still creepy.

  • those are my 2 favourite movies ever! chitty chitty bang bang is my number 1 movie. watched it all the time when i was young with my family, and now im 14, and i still watch ti with my friends and by myself from time to time!

  • is it scary im 19 and i dress like that everyday? lol

  • Watch Brian Gerrish (common purpose)

'child stealing by the state' for the real child catchers !

    this is happening NOW

  • Oh I loved this absolutely. Why the heck is this rated only 4 stars?

    5stars and favorited!

  • I love the child catcher, for some weird ass reason. I like the scary parts of the children movies, the dark characters. The child catchers seems to be sick, but awesome

  • i had a crush on him when i was like 10. lol.

  • You sick little puppy :)

  • You have no idea how happy this makes me.

  • More like Eat the Birds

  • I love "feed the birds", but in this case you're right :D "Eat the birds, tuppence a bag..."

  • This is my most favorite movie.

  • Ahhh Two of my fave Childhood films in one....magical times,, fun and inocence ,,where has it all gone wrong

  • me too!

I loved those two movies growing up- still do.

this scene in chitty chitty bang bang used to scare the hell out of me. jeremy and jemima are so stupid!

  • two classics in one WAY TO GO!

  • Thank you! So glad to know when others "get it" :)

  • @mcdan11 ewwww .... creepy

  • Very effective.

  • Thanks! Please feel free to rate the video :)

  • rated: Awesome! ( 5 *'s ) :P

  • This is horrifying.

    I love you.

    :D

  • It is indeed horrifying but hopefull in a satirical sort of way.... I love both movies... Mary Poppins being one of my favorites... but I thought I would be provocative to show how a beautiful song can be twisted.... We live in a world where "friendly fascism" is gaining ground..... The "Child Catcher" and other villains are adopting sweet tones to lure us into complacency.... Beware of lollipops and treakle tarts!! :) Thanks for the post.

  • This makes me want to grab up my little girl and never let her go!

  • That was actually really cool. Dripping with satire...

  • Why do you have "feed the birds" playing over this? Its supposed to be creepy!

  • These two movies, Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, are my two all-time childhood favorites. Mary Poppins was my first movie, seeing it in the theatre when I was 5, and te song "Feed the Birds" is the most beloved of all. I juxtaposed it with this most frightening scene from "Chitty" to show irony and how even a sacred humanitarian hymn can be abused and distorted by a totalitarian, fascist regime. It evokes Bush's "No Child Left Behind" propaganda that actually harms children.
