Cross-draw works well if you are right handed for "In vehicle" drawing. Ie, if approached or attacked while in the car, as a driver (or I suppose even as a passenger), it is easier to cross-draw and present quickly to a threat. Tryit, I bet you like it!

But what are the tactical disadvantages of cross draw? Is it easier to disarm or is the difference between cross draw vs. strong side just preference?

The best cross draw holster is the "Sky Cop".There made to be worn while seated all day long,and being in a truck up to 14 hours a day its perfect for me. I agree that the draw is quicker with a cross style too.
