The only difference is that Ozzy kept on doing hard drugs and drinking vast ammounts of alcohol until the late 80s-early 90s... but his demons were so hard to face that he was still drinking alcohol, take anti-depressants (prozac, xanax, klonopin etc) and smoke weed until 2006-2007. I don't know if people know, but Ozzy was also addicted to heroin in the mid 80s, but he stated that he hated niddles and so he was more into sniffing than injecting heroin.
