The RHL settings should be 380ms, about 30% blend, and between 4-6 repeats. Make sure you use a touch of flange too. That electric mistress is what sets the tone off.
I have the boss rt-20. Does the job beautifully! I have a fender hot rod deluxe with the matching speaker cabinet and I have the rt-20 going through the 2nd speaker only to give it that separation that gilmour has... awesome!
hey have you noticed if you turn on distrion that there is an amazing ammount of static? this is directly through the amp and then going through the effects loop there is none. on my tube traynor it seems to distort no matter what, anyway to fix this?
Nice. Drop your bottom E to D (and hit it) and it'll be perfect.

@hafstrat - That's what I do. Drop d sounds awesome however the song sounds better on a telecaster

Thanks for the close up on the "strumming" portion of the song. That's the most difficult to figure out. Nice work!

The ideal choice would be to get your hands on a rotating speaker...but they cost a little fortune...

Wouldn't doubt for a second that it sounds awsome! The RT-20 is a very good rotary sim!
Crapgame123 2 years ago
@libertyfalls - I use 8 repeats
Macconator2010 9 months ago
Just set your delay to 380 ms and a lot of feedback and you have it!

At this moment I use a T-Tex Replica Delay pedal. But the DE7 is nice!
jdiuurdfsds 3 years ago
That delay sounds great, have you tried any others? Really dig the playing man.

I am about to swap the DE7 for a T-Rex.
Sounds a bit better then the DE7.
Although the DE7 has a killer price.

on my "EMG clip" you can see my current board.
It is getting better/closer all the time.
I want to replace the DE7 for a T-Rex Replica.
And I want a Uni Vibe clone (Deja Vibe).

CS '54 ... !
They are great.

SO I have heard...
Being that u have a red strat have u thought about putting DG-20s in???
adrianjemond 3 years ago
I slightly prefer vintage style pups, the EMG pups do change the sound of a strat a bit. However this PULSE / Gilmour sound is great.
jdiuurdfsds 3 years ago
You have a pedal-board to die for.
Nice playing.
