Herman Cain's 999 plan is a non-starter. The 9% sales tax and the 9% federal income tax are both on top of the state sales and income taxes. If you live in California for instense you end up paying about 40% in taxes. Sorry Herman but no thanks.
Herman Cain makes a lot of sense. I hope he is the next president, but we'll be OK if the next president dramatically cuts spending; lowers taxes; repeals Obamacare; abolishes the EPA and renounces cap and trade; initiates domestic oil drilling; reforms social security via personal saving accounts; reforms the healthcare system with health savings accounts; abolishes the Dept. of Education and creates a school voucher system; promotes free trade; and ends bail outs and crony capitalism.
Gonna solve the nation's problems by serving us "chicken sandwiches, fries and cokes" instead of hamburgers. He did the cack- u-lay-tions! Now that's economic savvy!
Meanwhile, his former campaign staffers are on unemployment, LOL.
Love Dick's set decorations. They match his tie! Although, next time, his producers might want to try and place his mic a little closer to his mouth. Too much interference from all that silk and blubber. If they can find his neck, that is...
@WoodyLittle -Your the typical Right Wing Extremist you hate any black person that's liberal and you only like Herman Cain because he defends the Tea Parties Racism. The main reason why White Supremacists like you love Herman Cain so much is because you can use him as a token to defend your racism.
I can also tell you get all of your talking points from Fox News and Glenn Beck you just sound like a broken record repeating the same Fox News Propaganda
Debbie Blabbermouth Schultz is wanting more Green energy job funds. they have all failed. what she really wants is more green job loans which will end up in the Democrats campaign.
"9/9/9" doesn't solve the problem either: it just creates a new game with new problems. 9% Natl. Sales Tax (VAT) will be detrimental to senior citizens and anyone who earns less than $25K/yr.
Radical changes are all that Obama has had to offer; and, radical changes from the opposite side of the street are equally nerve-racking.
@sheridanbucket - You're missing one very important point. Cain's 9% National sales tax isn't added to current prices. First, you have to abolish the current tax code. 22% of the cost of consumer goods are embedded taxes passed on to consumers to cover corporate tax liabilities. For example, an item that costs $100 now, would be $78, then add the 9% national sales tax, that item now costs $85.02. It would give everyone way more buying power and our economy on steroids!
@NAGGERNUTZ In theory, that scenario sounds interesting; however, in reality, the Market will price that widget at whatever price the Demand is willing to pay ($100) and the Market will pocket the difference ($22). This happens everyday in Retail, already, to the benefit of the merchant or middleman. Costs of goods are continuously fluctuating everyday. The seemingly stable price that appears on the shelf represents a fair market value based on demand.
@sheridanbucket - I disagree. Market competition will keep the prices lower. WalMart, for example, will no doubt try to keep the prices as low as they can to draw customers, forcing other retailers to compete. The prices will stay as low as the market will allow. In your theory, the market drives prices way higher than it costs to manufacture. The market doesn't work that way.
@NAGGERNUTZ Au contraire, mon frère, the market does work that way. The market always sets the price higher than the cost to manufacture: buy low - sell high, not buy low - break even... or manufacture low - sell at cost. The market calls it "profit." Surely, you, too, have purchased some little plastic part or accessory for $10, or more, which only cost about 50¢ to produce. It's priced to fetch the maximum, keeping pace with demand, until it's not worth making anymore. ^^
@sheridanbucket - I still disagree. Of course there has to be a profit margin. WalMart beats their competition because it buys in bulk and eliminates the middle man, buying directly from the manufacturer and passing the savings on to consumers. Of course there may be a $10 widget that cost 50 cents to manufacture, but they're specialty items, obscure parts for some outdated consumer item. Mainstream items like new TV's, cars, etc aren't 50 cent widgets. Prices will be forced down under 9/9/9.

@iegirlie INTELLIGENCE limited by the Constitution -- that's Ron Paul and I'm voting for him. Herman Cain didn't know that China ALREADY HAS NUKES! Said he's going to stop them from getting nukes (never mind China had nukes since 1964! I kid you not.
@iegirlie -- ROMNEY'S 2012 PLAN CUTS MEDICARE--Ron Paul’s plan cuts $1 trillion the first year & balances the budget in 3 years. The plan cuts spending by ending the costly foreign wars, and cuts foreign welfare, corporate welfare, and overgrown federal bureaucracy. These cuts are made so that those who are dependent on domestic spending programs such as Medicare aren’t endangered through a sudden change in benefits. Romney’s plan cuts Medicare, on which many elderly Americans rely.
Herman Cain's point is, in medical terms, " treat the disease, not just the symptoms." His great contribution is his ability to search out the "problem?" while others fail to notice it. As with Pernicious Anemia, the liver-eating patient was listened to and The Problem thus discovered and solved.

Take it easy, tiger. Your sarcasm detector broken or something?
Read my post again. It's in NO WAY flattering to Cain! Fact is, I think the he's a ridiculous clown and that the TeaBirther movement is a joke!
Better yet, take a look at the comments on my channel. You'll find that YouTube bigots and racists have no love for me at all!
Next time you wanna trash a perfect stranger on the internet, maybe you ought to make the effort to get to know her a little better first, hmmm?

Jobs = FAIR Trade Agreements + reduced/unburdensome Regulations + reduced/reasonable Labor expenses (Pensions, Benefits, etc.) + competitive Corp. Tax rates. Voilà!
