  • I was playing this game last night actually, sounds so good on a big stereo, this game was meant to be blasted and enjoyed at full volume. Hitting a wall at 478kmph is intense when the bass goes THUD THUD THUD THUD THUD.... fucking Fire Field. :D

  • 0:41 Seconds and on <333333

  • F Zero will always be etched in my memory. My memories of video games are the only ones that aren't tarnished. When I play, they take me to my happy place X3 Thank you so much for saving the music from them, there's no way I can thank you enough!

  • first game i ever played whose soundtrack i found myself humming unconsciously for years, hahaha

  • wow, this game looks so fun !!!!!!!!!

  • The soundtrack for this game is so similar to Pilot Wings. Anyone else notice this?

  • f-zero has an amazing soundtrack

  • 1:00 - 1:50 remembrance of old times, great:)

  • a masterpiece of a game.

  • Big blue is the best one!

  • @MrVideogamerns64gw i would have to agree with you on that. it encapsulates the excitement, danger and competition spirit of being in a race and is also just so damn good to listen to!

  • 1:54 sounds like a kirby track

  • I recorded a cover of Mute City. Take a listen and let me know what you think! Port Town is next on the list.

  • best time I ever got was 2'02'10 mute city. lol tried hard for years to get up to that point & now you look at youtube 1 day & find out people had my best time for breakfest! (bumping/boosting of course). lol man world rankings really tame the confidence of game players.

nobody can boast & get away with It in this day & age lol

  • hey anybody knows the name for the song at 3:54?

i remeber i used to have that one but with an amazing guitar solo!

any information for that would be excellent!

    thank you

  • @franklydarko Big Blue

  • 175 likes, 1 dislikes, nice only one rtard this time :P

  • Damn, when I was a kid, I wanted the world to be in 16-bit. Still do.

  • 1 person couldnt get past death wind

  • Man, I totally need to play as Samurai Goroh more often

  • 1:52.... the best racing music known to man...which coincidently could be used as a 70's action title sequence

  • lol i still have this game on super nintendo

  • The only racing game I like.

  • whats everyones favorite cars? i love capton falcons vehicle, but i tested over and over on mute city 1, and come to the conclusion that the pink car holds the highest top speed throughout the map.

  • This was the first game to that ever indicated I have a mild form of epilepsy. that still didnt stop me from spending the next 19 years gaming my ass off

  • Nostalgia overload

  • this game is the best racing game ever nothing can beat it if you dont thumb me you you must be sick lol

  • I frigging loved this game.

  • ZOMFGWTF!!!! FZERO!! u ROOOL!!!!

  • Out of all the F-Zero games, this one still has the best soundtrack.

  • great game great ost i loved it :)

  • "Falcon PUNCH!!!!"

  • I remember that last chicane you can get through without even breaking if you time it right

  • f-zero (83)

  • haha pro gamer!

  • f-zero had such an amazing soundtrack, i remember turning the volume loud as hell and when i crashed that massive "BOOM!" almost through me out of the fuckin room every single time.

  • @staxstix

Haha, I was just about to say the same thing. Crashing used to scare me shitless on this game when I was a kid.

  • beware the bass line that begins at 1:03, ive literally had it stuck in my head for around 18 years or so, seriously. beware that bass line or it will consume your mind. forever.oh ive said too much.

  • all those songs just said "keep racing!"

  • yeah f-zero the best f-zero mi vida

  • One of the first SNES games I had way back in 1991. I still play it today

  • @mistaphill

I bought a SNES about a year ago, as I just missed all of these games so much. I managed to find F-Zero still in it's box and factor seal. I almost felt bad to open it, haha.

  • @jarannalli

    dude you shouldn't have XD

    those are very rare lol

  • @starfoxhero

But I wanted to play it. lol

That was the point of buying it

  • @jarannalli

if it's factory sealed you're supposed to keep it as is!

gah people don't understand collecting =/

take Earthbound for example, if i bought it factory sealed YES i would definitely want to play it but if it's valued at $6,000!? No way! I'll keep it sealed!

  • @starfoxhero

Collecting? Who said anything about collecting? I bought these games to play them. No jump back.

  • @jarannalli

it's ok you'll regret it in the near future :3

  • @starfoxhero

Here's a good idea. Why don't you cease from acting like you know me at all.

    Thank you.

I got that game factory sealed for like 10 bucks. And it was immediately replaced on the shelf that week by another factory sealed F-Zero.

    Have a nice day.

  • @jarannalli

    =O

    i must bye it! XD

    and ok later

  • @starfoxhero

if i knew you & you paid $6k for a game i'd smack you in the head.

  • @Uglimusashi

    i didnt tho =P

  • man I love this game. To this day I still play it to relieve stress. I just zen the fuck out and drive, bouncing off of walls to pass the flashing pink cars.

  • Is there a way to buy the official soundtrack of this game?

  • , Dungeons and Dragons, Captain Commando, Out Run, California Games... some of the best VG music of all time.

  • Sonic 1 and 2, Mario 1, 2, 3, World, Yoshi's Island, Donkey Kong Country, Mario Kart, Golden Axe 2, Streets of Rage 1 and 2, Street Fighter 2, F-Zero, Zelda A Link to the past, Zelda Ocarina of time, Zelda Wind Waker, Zelda Twilight Princess, Mario Galaxy, New Mario Bros DS and Wii, Mario Kart Wii, Smash Bros Brawl, Final Fight, Super Mario 64, Alex Kidd in Miracle World, Altered Beast, Gex, Moonwalker, Tiny Toon,

  • buenos.

  • i don't really like that they iused trumpets instead of guitar samples like the gba version.but the aggan look at how old this game is at the time it was probably very cool.

  • Mute city theme = epic

    begin at 0:42 <3

  • @ThaReaper143

yeah on the n64.who want's to hear trumpets.

  • You didn't get the whole Fire Field song...

  • the tune at 4.00 tht kiks in is wikid i would rather play this over the new ps3 gran terismo anyday !

  • big blue one of my top10 vgm

  • This was when I loved racing games to death if it weren't for this game we would not have Daytona USA or Ridge Racer or burnout this was probably one of the game that started off this arcade racing style now you don't see many of these racing games anymore, now its just racing sim bullshit like Gran Turismo or Forza Motorsport they had some fun racing games in the 90s I tell ya:)

  • I'm not a big fan of racing games, honestly, I find a lot of them boring, but you're spot on with what you said about nowadays being all racing sim crap. They need more fun arcadey racers, as I enjoy Burnout and F-Zero immensely.

I don't want to tweak various aspects of my car or inflate the tyres myself or pick what kind of spoilers should go on it, give me a hovering 500mph vehicle any day over that shit!

  • shit man I know, I play f-zero and top gear 3000 when I wanna play a racing game even though I own the new consoles. Same with rpgs... I weep for the future of video games

  • @BigSlickStar you gotta be a mechanic to play these new racing games...WTF??!!

  • Second greatest game ever created man this kicks sooo much ass they have newer version for gamecube, but even GX can't beat this i would rather play this than GX anyday!

  • Holy Motherfkr, what a piece of game, I lost this cartridge, fuck!!!

  • What an awesome game. I really wish Nintendo would release a Wii version of the game, preferably more X than GX.

  • yeah, I'm waiting.. .hope the big N does not decide to drop F-zero all-together because the pre-teens among us think it's too hard and prefer crap like "cooking mama" instead...

  • The second music is sick! Only top gear is better

  • One of the best Super NES soundtracks ever.

  • Damn right! Fire Sting Ray is the bomb!! Im way faster ill post my times soon gotta fire up the old snes! Still kickin since 1991!!

  • Way faster than the person in these runs? Considering that Mute City run was a world record, I kinda doubt that.

  • Yeah dude! i thought i was fast never mind my mute city record was like 1min 59sec. i thought i was the only one to do the whole cutting thing. Im not as fast as i used to be now i hit 2min 1sec mark! LOl i need more practice. So yeah your doubt is correct.

  • Anyone have any clue where I can get the music from this game?I freakin love it

  • wow, memories.

  • damnit - i love this fucking game

  • Loved this game. It's the first racing game I remember where you actually "felt" like you were moving at super-high speeds.

  • One of the first games I ever had on the SNES. It really set a new standard for 3D racing games. I loved it, music and all!

  • yeah! Super Nitendo!^^

  • 4:07 WTF???? Didn't knew that!!!!

  • Mute City, and Big Blue are my favs

  • the second music...I REMEMBER!!! ^^

  • port town the best!

  • Today is this video's anniversary.

  • Holy crap, hadn't even noticed it had been over a year since I started the series. Sweet, thanks for pointing that out man.

  • Happens to me all the time!

  • @garudoh You're approaching the vid's 3-year anniversary! :P

  • 4:10-4:52 I likey

  • 5:59 ftw

  • f-zero had some laid back music

  • Big Blue is the most epic F-Zero song ever. I used to run through the track over and over again just to hear it. <3

  • Me too. Me too.

  • Absolute genius music!

  • omg old skool I LOVE THIS =D

  • 3:55 FTW!!!

  • yeah and the song before it as well is nice

  • :43 ftw

  • mute city theme ftw

  • I loved this game back in the day, it was the first snes game that I bought, due to lack of games for the snes apon release. Thanks to Electronic gaming monthly magazine I got turned on to Japanese import games (super famicon) and got a lot of games before they hit the US shores, and at that time if you wanted to play Japanese games you had to modify your console to do so, so I took my soldering iron and melted the two plastic blocks inside the console so I could play the games.

  • 4:11 FTW!!!!

  • indeed

  • The track at 5:02 rocks my world. Sounds very inspired by The Doors. The SNES soundchip was amazing.

  • It's such as shame to me that the Port Town level theme wasn't used as a tune in the game "Super Smash Bros. Brawl"... It would have been perfect to use in the game!

  • Im sure i have that song

  • Is there another game like this for the SNES? I remember playing a game like this as a kid, but I can't tell if it was this one, or another. All I'm sure about is that it had the same futuristic car racing look.

  • Sorta. There's a very similar game called Hyperzone, for the SNES with great music too, though it's a shooter and not really a racing game. It makes use of the MODE 7 (that pseudo 3d effect we have for fzero too). Check it out on youtube.

  • Thanks man, I looked into it here. Didn't look anywhere near as familiar to me as F-Zero. I guess it's official, I played F-Zero growing up, awesome. Much obliged, freezehawk2.

  • rly nice vid. !!!!!

what is the name of the last song ???

  • i remember wen i used yo go to vacation to see my uncle in mexico i would play this game and i was 4 yrs old

  • 5:08 (Ah! sss Da Billie Jean...)

  • ABSOLUT PERFEKT!

  • jesus !how do you people get all these sweet memories !!thank you all and keep up the good work!!

  • hip hop here we come!

  • the music of "big blue" was so wonderful too xD

  • in the port town the player personalize a MONSTER shortcut

very good i like it wondeful !!!!

  • Dang, the music is sweet, I love the bass!

  • PORT TOWN!!!

  • classic!

  • I never got to play this game, but I did play F-Zero X, and that game supplied Endless joy and laughter, =] Heck, even with all these xbox 360 games and ps3, we still pull out the old games and have a blast that the new games just can't give.

  • simplemente ecxelente como todos tus videos....gracias...

  • Man, I remember when I got this game and it came with a freaking comic about Captain Falcon.

  • Big Blue, baby!!!!

  • Oh yeah, my favorite track

  • Silence all the way.

  • Couldn't agree more. It's actually kinda Ironic how a track named Silence has one of the most upbeat songs in the game...

  • whoever made up this kind of music is a genius!!

  • Its perfect for a racing game.

  • Love the mute city song

  • I've only played F-Zero on the N64 so this version is new to me. Some good stuff on here. Track at 0:43 is my fave.

  • me hiciste llorar puto jajaja :(

  • I got into F-Zero quite a bit, although I sucked at it. The only music I really got into was Big Blue (epic stuff and the SSBM remix is awesome) and Mute City.

Falcon punch thing gets as old as Chuck Norris jokes (at least Chuck jokes have some creativity). In the game he's a race car driver, but the Falcon Punch thing came from some anime (typing in Falcon Punch on Youtube brings it up ASAP), which is just a punch that blows up the world. No creativity whatsoever.

    Hard not to hate MarKar.

  • Falcon punch came from the first Super Smash Bros. In the game hes a racer and a bounty hunter.

  • I noticed that later on. I take the anime was bases off the falcon punch in the video game?

  • yes it was.

  • interesting.

  • Like the second, fourth (Big Blue as I've read) & the last theme. I never got into F-Zero, so I don't find the Falcon Punch thing as funny as everyone else does. I'm not the racing-type player unless its Mario Kart.

  • Awesome best Racing game for the Snes.

  • OMG Flash back flash back! Ty for the vid man. who ever that was playing is the shyt!! ima show this to my brother :D:D:D

  • good times

  • tengo buenos recuerdos al eskuchar la cancion dl 1er minuto x) totalmente rulz!

  • F Zero is a big reason I bought a Super NES over a Genesis, and one of the few reasons I don't hate myself for doing so (because Genesis is AWESOME).

  • you are a good person :)

  • great music if this would be played at some 8 bit partys i would dance my ass off.

  • music at 3:55 rules

  • Yup, Big Blue @ 3:55 :D... or atleast the start sounds like it...

  • Mute City , Port Town , Big Blue <3

  • White land is cool.

  • Fire Field is absolutely amazing! I'm glad it got into Brawl

  • i always wondered why f-zero isn't made for genesis even tought the game is made by sega?

  • nuh uh my friend this is a nintendo franchise

  • yes i know. but this game is made by sega

  • No, this was an in-house Nintendo development. Sega did however develop the GameCube and Arcade versions in 2003, after they ceased being rivals with Nintendo.

  • After the Dreamcast failed, Sega stopped making consoles/hardware, and focused on making software for other companies' titles.

  • I hope you loaded "sand ocean" on here. thanks for taking the time out to do these videos man, it brought back memories!

  • i want a disco where only video game music is played ^^

  • Me too!

  • we should seriously start a project! im in florida in 3 months, maybe we meet there to discuss the details ^^

  • Beautiful stuff.

  • The only F-Zero tunes I'm familiar with is Mute City and Big Blue, Big Blue being my favorite song from the game.

  • "... not overdone to say that the music of this game is a masterpiece. After 15 years it still fascinate me. "

Most old video game music is.

  • I think its really not overdone to say that the music of this game is a masterpiece. After 15 years it still fascinate me.

  • Port Town has the coolest opening chord sequence in racing game soundtrack history. :-D

  • you are damm right!!

    my alltime fav!!

  • amen gaiden, haha
