Hi, did you use the drop spindles with the stock beam or did you also use a narrowed adjustable beam?

@bicyclemonkey I put a set of EMPI 2 inch dropped spindals on it. I don't believe in the narrowed beam, to rough of a ride for me. Take it easy Pete

awesome bug got a 1968 beetle myself. How much should a ordinary paint job with no orange peel the car complete gutted with everything off the car. The only thing that needs to be fixed is dents how much would you say that would be, just from ur experience.

Empi-2 1/2 dropped spindals.. These are the only ones to use, because they will line up properly and work just like factory.... Thanks Pete

Nice bug I just picked up a 72 beetle that I'm planning on restoring though I have to fix one of the rocker panels it seems those always rust out on bugs.

Too bad Youtube has gotten so anal over copyrighted music in videos anymore.

The abysmal copyright laws in the US esp on derivative works are much to blame for this.

I am taking my 62 right now and welding in a 54 oval window section and a 52 windshield clip. Other than fenders, door handles, and dash you wont know this isn't a 54 unless you REALLY know your bugs. I hope to post some vids on it soon. Peace out.
