Rooting is basically the same as jailbreaking (iphone) you get access to the core files of android to mess around, loads of apps require this, tutorials should be easily found on google.

@ThiVasss if you just buy phone, so yes, it is true, but when you root it and flash it, there is touchfix kernel for overclocking, so it is 50:50... your choice :) ;)

@adisatko actually some games such as need for speed shift (snapdragon version) run quite well on the optimus one without a root and overclock. yes there is some minor lag but you get used to it and gets almost unnoticeable. but yea overclocking will make the game run much better.

@trauerinho zdravím, rozhodně ber P500- a to hlavně kvůli operačnímu systému :)

navigace... no jsou tam předinstalované google mapy, které prý umí navigovat, ale nejsem si jistý, jestli nefungujou jen pře a-gps (tudíž se zapnutým datovým tarifem)...

jinak na androida máš hodně navigací- sygic, igo, navigon a další (při použití warezu dokonce doživotně zdarma ^^)... GPS chytne hodně rychle- ve městě mi to trvá kolem 20 sekund bez zapnuté A-GPS (tudíž čistě chytání signálu ze satelitu :) )

@trauerinho no Samsung Monte tuším nemá žádný OS, do OS můžeš doinstalovávat z marketu aplikace a hry, což se hodně hodí, A-GPS je asistovaná GPS (tudíž online ^^) a normální navigace, co jsem vyjmenoval, jedou i na normální GPS (doporučuju pak v nastavení vypnout používání A-GPS) a taky doporučuju navštívit androidforum(tečka)cz :)

@OgFresh96 Hi OgFresh- root your phone is something like jailbreake on the iPhone :) , and no, you cant find kernel on the market (its nonofficial android "upgrade" :) )

and overclock means that you will have faster (and warmer) phone ;)

-"Rooting" is a term used in Linux-based OSs, that means giving you full administrator right(rights like editing a file previously "read-only")

-No, you can not. Try Xda Developers, their real pros from my opinion, had a Touch Pro be4 my Optimus and they made it a lto faster.

-Yes you can, it's same principle as in computer. You make it run faster than it's originally set to. The only bad thing at a phone is faster start and heat.
