That was nice as hell. Clean that car up and shoot a vid of the whole thing! Just bought a 97 kouki i have been looking at for a while and going to stay KA. I see a lot of people (like 007nissan down there) saying its easier and cheaper to swap.... good luck with that lol. With the grand total of 5k it would take to do a clean, well set up swap (and thats just an s14 SR, not near the RB) you could build, turbo, and tune a beast of a KA. I like torque better than rev though, so thats just me.

Love the ka. I use to build these bad boys back in the day and 10/10 times it wud own a sr. . just saying guys. sr's are kinda weak. i dont see any sr's doing 7 secs on the quarter mile

Rb25s have cooling issues.plus I want a good old fashioned,built by me reliable engine.that's way more satisfying than swapping in a used already turboed engine.as the saying goes,built not bought.just my feelings tho.c

ka24de is nice but .its cheaper to just buy a rb25det from jdm.i meen u go by just a turbo for a ka24de it between 1800 and 3000 u cant just by a better motor with a turbo allready on it for that price me im rb25det ......

Now a general overall question.. How much did it cost you to do all that? Just in case you tell me you got a hooked up price, how much would that cost normally without any hookup'd prices?? I ask because I have 240 as well 95 s14 with a coilovers, poly bushings, tower bar, 2.5 full catback exhaust with a elimination of the second cat, Im thinking of going SR but I wanna have an I idea of a price for a fully built boosted KA...

@Waizu91 depends on you, do you just want a motor with a turbo?

i can always aprricate all ka's. but it was just easier to go sr because off all the aftermarket support. its really hard to find parts for ka's like big cams big injectors and all that

@OFFICAL420 dude aftermarket SR injectors can be used on a KA, and aftermarket cams are very easy to find. There is a ton of aftermarket support for KAs these days. With online ordering, you can easily find anything you want for KA-T

nissy i wanna say thats the greddy kit. looks like a clean job. any problems you ran into? i have a 97 240 and i wanna drop a greddy kit on my KA the price and the power makes me love my KA over the SR20.
