  • How do have faith: First, take one bowlful of facts. Then place hands in bowl, act like you know what you're doing, then throw them out the window and the bowl too.

    Faith achieved.

  • ELVIS DID NO DRUGS!!

  • Those first two chapters in Genesis do not contradict each other. In chapter 1 God created Adam and Lilith - in chapter 2 God created Eve from Adam's rib after Lilith rejected Adam. A lot was left out of the bible but those writings are still available in te gnostic texts. Still, it's all bullshit, like they say.

  • faith = fact - fact, aka.... bullshit!

  • You know the one thing I don't get is why there is a general consensus that Adam and Eve are biblically referenced as the first man and woman. It never states this, and the first mention of creation of humans doesn't mention them.Chapter 2 is the first direct reference. It seems both Christians and atheists never bothered to actually read the bible fully, as there are lots of things assumed about it that it never actually states. Eden may have just been a specific location God used as a control.

  • Penn & Teller is the

    truth.

    I even use their photo

    in my latest video.

  • "merde du taureau" (on the wine bottle).

    EPCI

  • Go get your god damn bible

  • imagine people treated lord of the rings the same way they treated the bible....

  • That Elvis chicken looks so good!

  • At 5:20

    ABSOLUTELY UNDENIABLY WRONG!

It doesn't say in the first chapter of Genesis that God created Adam and Eve. It says it i the second chapter. This is coming from a PHD? BAHHAHAHA!!! You people are so freakin lame.

  • @CanvasSkinRazorBrush 20 seconds with google I found:

    Genesis 1:27

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

You're either trolling, or retarded. Unless of course, the bible is referring to two unnamed first people, male and female, who weren't adam and eve. lol

  • @dennist3hmenace It doesn't say it was Adam And Eve. How come it says that God tells them to be fruitful and multiply before he created Adam and Eve? You're missing it. God created the whole human race to replenish the earth, THEN he made Adam and Eve after the day he rested. Read it again carefully.

  • @CanvasSkinRazorBrush Now I'm really confused. So are you saying that Genesis 1 and 2 are not two accounts of the same story, but rather sequencial? Meaning first Genesis 1 happened and then Genesis 2?

  • @CanvasSkinRazorBrush It's good to know you get your account of the origins of the universe from a book written by bronze age Palestinian goat herders.

  • @ccsmiley2 Palestinians didn't write anything in the Bible. Plus the book of Job was written long before the bronze age. So was Genesis. You're one ignorant ol boy aren't ya?

  • @CanvasSkinRazorBrush That really went right over your head didn't it? Most of the Christian bible was written around the same time, but if you want to cherry pick a few books from the OT, you may want to remember that the story of Noah and the flood is just a retelling of the Epic of Gilgamesh. Do you know for certain when it was written, or by whom?

Also, please retake 5th grade geography before telling me none of it was written by Palestinians.

  • @ccsmiley2 No, you are an idiot. The Epic of Gilgamesh isn't the only flood story having to do with an Ark and animals you know. There is account of the same story in other cultures. Don't bother me with your skepticism. You're a retard. You ONLY have a problem with Religious history. Why don't you go attack the history we teach our children in schools without empirical evidence? BIGOT! HYPOCRITE!

  • @CanvasSkinRazorBrush LOL don't be mad because you're wrong, it's ok

  • @ccsmiley2 Prove me wrong bright boy.

  • @CanvasSkinRazorBrush Prove what wrong? All you have done is confirm that the FICTIONAL story of Noah and the flood is not original or unique, then you proceeded to type a string of baseless childish shitstains. I see no logical contention on your part in any way that is worth addressing, boy.

  • @CanvasSkinRazorBrush Problem with your argument is that history taught in schools can be empirically proven.

  • @rufuguru 6 things that can't be proven. Logic and Mathematics Metaphysical truths Ethical beliefs Aesthetic judgments Science itself The Past

You can not empirically prove the past. You can only provide circumstantial evidence.

  • @CanvasSkinRazorBrush Yes, you can empirically prove the past. Don't confuse the scientific method with the empirical method.

  • @CanvasSkinRazorBrush You can prove Logic and Math. You can prove science, you can prove the past.

  • @rufuguru No you can't. First off not all math is provable because of the problem with Pi. That is only one problem. Secondly, Logic can't be proven, it can only be accepted by opinion.

  • @CanvasSkinRazorBrush There is no problem with Pi. Pi is the ratio of a circle's Circumference to it's Diameter. Logic can be proven, given that you abide by the laws of logic. You've stated no facts (a proof in the laws of logic because you really haven't). And you would make a great comedian in a Math Club.

  • @rufuguru Pi is imperfect. Check your facts. And logic is not empirical evidence. Logic is the science that investigates the principles governing correct or reliable inference.

  • @CanvasSkinRazorBrush No, Pi is not imperfect, it's an irrational number. Pi is a perfect ratio, and by denying logic, you're only proving that logic is true.

  • @rufuguru If there is no problem then why do you have to change the Square root of PI to work a problem? PI=3.14159265 The Square root is 1.77245385. Or 1.77244 Or 1.77243 Or 1.7722. Depending on the problem you are using it with. It is an approximate. And you have to manipulate the number to fit the problem.

  • @CanvasSkinRazorBrush No, you don't have to change the square root of Pi to fit a problem, you use a calculator. If we were living in ancient Greece, your analysis might be correct, but Pi is a near exact number with only 1 square root that is also as irrational as Pi. Now despite that you are naming an irrational number that is rarely used outside of Trigonometry, you still haven't shown any imperfections in math.

  • @rufuguru That is incorrect. A calculator will give you one answer and it won't work with all problems. Google "The Problem With Pi".

  • @CanvasSkinRazorBrush There is no problem with Pi. It is the ratio of a circle's circumference to it's diameter. Pi is irrational, but it's not imperfect by any stretch of the word. All you've proven is that you know little about math and even less about trigonometry.

  • @CanvasSkinRazorBrush "The Problem With Pi" argument has to do with the measurement of a circle in radians. One circle is 2Pi radians. There are anal college students that believe that 2Pi should be replaced with Tau to deal with the change, however that's a really nit-picky opinion and it doesn't change how accurate Pi is.

  • @CanvasSkinRazorBrush Some people have used Super computers to get up to a trillion digits from Pi, but it doesn't ever change in numerical value (which is C/D)

  • @ccsmiley2 Israel was Israel long before it was Palestine...The Roman Emperor Hadrian renamed Israel Palestine after the Jews revolted and tried to take their country back from the Romans. He named it Palestine after the Jews arch enemies the Phillistines...remember the story of David and Goliath? Goliath was a phillistine. The phillistines were European not arab. While the "Palestinians" are spoken of in The Bible, they did not write it.

  • @ProdigalChild1 Label and delude it however you want, they're still barbarian goat herders from Canaan.

  • Note that.. every person who believes all of the bible in this video have a southern accents..

  • @laubl111 No they don't?

  • @laubl111 im from deep east texas and i dont believe in the bible. im just sayin be careful with generalizations

  • @laubl111 that's not even true... plenty of the people that believe in the bible in this video have perfectly good TV induced non regional diction

  • the genesis is a jewish oral tradition not based on writings but on stories past down

  • @Helltamirre It's still murder.

  • Go get your goddamn bible!

  • university of western michigan, history department = FAIL!

  • I like atheist. They are immature "free thinkers" like Richard Dawkins, who resort to name calling and insults. Undeveloped troglodytes who aren't interested in teaching anything just being an ass is their position. Works for me! With these leading the fight, Ill always be a creationist.

  • @marriedachocletbunny You know, you're more likely to have free thought if your mind isn't chained up by a book of 6000+ year old desert fairy tales.

  • @marriedachocletbunny When does Richard Dawkins resort to insulting people!? You may want to watch, Richard Dawkins reads hatemail.

    /watch?v=AxdxZ47JouU

  • @marriedachocletbunny Typically, if Richard Dawkins is resorting to "name calling" it's when he's saying somebody is ignorant about this or that. And he'd be correct. But people are ignorant about certain things. It's not supposed to be name calling, it's really just stating fact, like, say, "You're ignorant about the facts of evolution." The same way you're ignorant about many atheists and their general disposition (including myself )judging by your statement.

  • thank god my brain has skeptisism in it

  • they should do the quran next. but something tells me they would be affraid of muslims fire bombing their studio or issuing a fatwa on their fat asses.

  • I couldn't find my Bible. Oh right, I never owned one.

  • This fat chump is stupid there is only one way for him to know lets chop his head off the. He will realize how wrong he is because there is a hell and heaven and god and devil read psalms 54 people

  • @Carlosbby17

    "Let's chop his head off."

Ah, just like a good Christian.

  • Everyone should have a Bible. It's an important book of literature, epecially of middle ages.

  • @algi80

I agree, and that's speaking as an atheist; but only the older translations, not the modern rubbish. There was an article in the National Geographic last year about the King James Bible, and I'd forgotten the sheer beauty of the language - and how much of it has passed into everyday usage. It's great literature.

  • Welcome to lsynno's bullshit

today is the Bible fact or fiction

    Talking snake= its bullshit

  • In order to analyze the bible you have to read it in the actual language; Hebrew. The translation too english isn't 100% perfect.

  • @blevdachamp36 exactly. like the line that says being gay is an "abomination". That's an inaccurate translation. When translated properly, it says something a lot closer to being gay is "not our way". So, the thing that republicans & fundamentalists are so hot & bothered over is nothing but a poor translation. Gotta love ignorance!!!

  • @ScienceofWinning Even if that was the case which it could be I don't know, I think they're more annoyed about the being told they should be killed for it part. Just a hunch.

  • thing is with noah's ark. there are many different religions that talk about a large flood that incircled the earth it's possible that the flood could have happened. all the animals on the boat not as likely remember the flood lasted for 40 days right. this means he would have to have had enough food for the animals and his family. another thing wouldn't all the plants on earth have died during these 40 days.

  • 109 people found their bible then committed suicide

  • are you people still bitching about religion?

i was an atheist, but now im an "i dont care" -er.

religions has and will go on for the rest of humanity. it is incredibly inherent to being a human. pretty much all civilizations had some sort of religion.

if it makes people comfortable with the idea of death and makes them feel special, so be it.

good for them i say, in many ways im jealous.

  • I went to see Shermer speak at a book signing. It really was wonderful I highly suggest skeptics take advantage of opportunities like this.

  • @JDriver771 I don't believe the world happened 2000 years ago so...

  • @PalmTreeCloud actually if u went by the bible it would be 4000 years, jesus was "born" 2000 years ago. but we all know how fucking crazy this is anyways..

  • Atheism IS a religion. A NON-PROPHET ORGANIZATION! xD

  • @Oracle13 How is the denial of religion a religion?

  • @mike112769 It was a joke I was making ;)

  • @Oracle13 Prophet/Profit, get it? :P

  • Former Baptist. Christianity studies subtext & context. Genesis 1:1 mocks Babylonian creation story. Ahura Mazdā assembles; Hebrew God speaks.

  • Who else was fooled by "cute chick with nice pussy" then came back to watch this video?

  • "Mythic story telling and nothing more.." Then the fucker doesn't know what a myth is. And this is what pisses me off. The skeptics take things like the Bible, at face value, and dismiss it. The Fundies take the Bible at face value, and believe it. They're BOTH fucking morons. You can't take the Bible at face value for many reasons. Historically, it's accurate, as the writers chose to tell it. We have to figure out what they were really saying, in the context in which it was written.

  • @ravenslaves So in other words... the bible isn't the "word" of god... it should just be taken allegorically. Then why define the very basis of one's existence on a book written by men, whose interpretations will NEVER be agreed upon???

"Historically, it's accurate, as the writers chose to tell it" is tantamount to believing that words are true because an author is says it is. It doesn't make what they are saying truth... or even valid in their own time.

  • @MatthewRider1 I wouldn't define much of anything on a book...

Historically accurate, yes, on several levels. They're conveying how they saw their world, in their terms. It's little wonder how we have a hard time understanding it. Add to that the seperation of time, distance, language, multiple translations etc... With the NT you can add codes as well, which we still don't have the key to. Remember that all those letters had to go through hostile territory. They'd be coded.

    Cont...

  • cont. Remember also, that until recently, the Norse Sagas were regarded as just fiction, as was the city of Troy. Now we know that there was much more truth in those stories. History is filled with such examples. The Bible is no different. It was written (several times) for a reason. Religion was just the vehicle to perpetuate a greater understanding and knowledge of those people and their times. The people and events were mostly lost, but the religion aspect survived, and left behind clues.

  • not collecting stamps is a favorite hobby of mine :D

  • @Michielos23 man do i love not collecting stamps

  • "We are all atheists. I just believe in one less God than you do." -Best and most truthful quote ever about religion.

  • Really? all the animal species in the time of happening of the "noah's ark" story were withing walking distance of hos house? Isn't that proof enough?

  • Exodus 20:13 says, "You shall not murder."

Exodus 22:18 says, "Do not allow a sorceress to live."

    CONTRADICTION = EPIC FAIL

  • @MythicalGryphon1 Sorceress ain't considered human, I think, so that's no murder.

  • 5:09 For someone pretending to know what he is talking about, he should know that Genesis 1 and 2 are actually "chapters" and not "books" as he refers to them.

  • @Ryfizzle10 Yes, he does mistakenly refer to them as "books." However, he corrects himself IN THE VERY NEXT SENTENCE. He says this: "We can start right off with the first two books of the Bible in Genesis. In the first chapter..." Then, he says "In the second chapter, God..."

So really, your criticism is nothing more than an annoyance with someone who corrects himself after he misspeaks.

  • The bible should NOT be taken as a history book.

  • I personally believe the whole bible ordeal is like what happens at the lunch table when you're a kid. You tell the person next to you a message and to pass it on, and as it goes down the line of kids the message gets distorted since someone forgot a word, or said something differently, and by the time it got to the end, it was a different message all together. Could have been - Jesus was a good man. Jesus was a great man. Jesus was a wonderful man. Jesus was a saint. Jesus was the son of god.

  • @Grimno I agree with you for the most part, but I have one question. What are you saying got mixed up? was the Bible itself mis-recorded or are the people teaching it the ones messing it up?

  • @cryoutBenehime Both. From the very beginning, the stories in the Bible have been going through a process of gradual corruption and degradation and it continues today. The accounts of Jesus' life were circulated by mouth for a century before being written down. The Catholic church edited out many part of the Bible....

  • @cryoutBenehime ....Translations hold many potential misinterpretations. Today, preachers choose the parts they like and tell them in their own words and make elaborations based on speculation. Many people haven't read the Bible, they only know the stories through what they've heard from others. It is ever-changing.

  • @cryoutBenehime I believe the Bible itself was mis-recorded. If you look back in history, King James rewrote and translated many parts of the bible back in 1604.

And everyone seemed okay with this. During this translation process, there is a chance that during the four years it took to do, one of the forty-seven people who were recorded to have worked on it, someone may have messed up accidentally or on purpose.

  • @Grimno I agree that the preachers have messed the Bible up, but I do not believe the Bible itself was miss-recorded or miss-translated. It is true that the Bible stories were passed along quite a bit before being written down, however it is also true that the people who finally recorded these stories, recorded what God told them to record. Moses wrote the first 5 books of the Old Testament and much of it he was never even present to witness, he simply wrote what God told him to write.

  • @Grimno Also, it is true that some of the translations may be messed up, but with enough research you can find what was actually said. Al-tho the Bible stories may be altered a bit, the only thing I have ever found that was really altered was the direct quotes. If God truly is the being it is believed he is, do you think he would allow his own book to be completely misinterpreted?

  • @Grimno Some of the direct quotes from people in the Bible are off, that I know, but I don't believe the stories are incorrect.

  • @cryoutBenehime Well see, i'm personally non-religious. I questioned too many things that didn't make any sense and the "He works in mysterious ways" answer just wasn't cutting it anymore. That and of course the sheer number of Christian zealots I run into. I know people say "Don't let this one person's actions sway you from so and so" ... but there are A LOT of them...

  • @Grimno Lol, well I am religious and I know my Bible quite well which is what is allowing me to see the flaws in Penn and Teller's arguments. I will agree with you tho, that argument doesn't help much, but there are reasons for what God does, I can tell you that. The probably men tend to have with this is that God's logic is not the same as ours, he does not think the way we do and so when God has a plan that he knows will work, men tend to simply say "He works in mysterious ways"

  • @Grimno now I will admit, it is possible that when Eli helped write the Bible down on that boat, he may have made a few mistakes, but Eli seemed to know what he was doing thru the rest of the movie so I'm pretty sure the Bible is pretty close to the original version.

  • @PalmTreeCloud unless if it's a nice "I agree" response! Thumbs up!

  • I disagree with the whole "Noah ark is impossible?!" crap. It specifically says in the bible that it's 2 OF EACH ANIMAL. Oh wait.. Its impossible to fit 2 of EVERY ANIMAL of EVERY SPECIES in an ARK?! But how do u know that? Maybe they didn't have a lot of animals back then! Sheesh don't even bother responding

  • @PalmTreeCloud Simple science and fossilization shows us an idea of how many species existed over the course of the last hundred millenniums, even that being a small number of years, to be hundreds of thousands of species. If you want to believe that one man gathered thousands of species, separated aboard a man made ship, then redistributed them across multiple continents....more power to you, of course,I'm sure you also believe the world began 2000 years ago, and science lies

  • I remember when I was a kid, like younger than 10, whenever I heard the story of Noah's ark I always kinda smurked and figured that everyone knew how ridiculous it sounded, but they just told the story because it was a nice social activity or tradition. It took me a few years to realize that people actually believed it.

  • Having a religious belief is like thinking that orange is the best colour. Religion is all a matter of opinion in the end.

  • I find it funny, God can crate the universe and the earth and so on... Yet it takes a rib to create eve :|... If i was adam id be like what the fuck god why you got to mutilate me like that, why cant you just conjure my mate? And most likely said oooh adam I hate you :)... I am going to give you a tree which is very sinfull if you eat that apple :D.. And a btich that will get easily enticed and will question me "god'... And b/c of this act all humanity will be trown out of this paradise. yay GOD

  • well.. if i were to pick a religion, i would be a hindu (y) they are often nice to others, sure they got like 1000 gods xD enyhow, they still respect other and try to be as nice as they can so they will be reborn as somthing "greater", unlike christians and muslims xD

  • im pretty sure the bible is a rip off of greek mythology

    :P

  • If Atheism is a religion, then not collecting stamps is a hobby, and 'bald' is a hair color.

  • @RandomTask3000 If Atheism is a religion then Abstinence is a Sexual activity.

  • @RandomTask3000 bald is a hair style though

  • @fronsklu2 no hair, no hairstyle.

  • @RandomTask3000 correct but science in popular culture is developing the attributes that are used to classify religions. and some atheistic doctrine is part of that process...

  • @ArsenicApplejuice Atheistic doctrine? WTF

  • @Jimk0756 yes doctrine that prescribes morals and ethical behavior and stuff like that being developed with the absence of a deity or supernatural influence ... I used some poor wording on that comment should have read and development of atheistic doctrine.. yes look up secular study of religion and see how many of the traits used to classify and study religions as a social mechanism are present in the current pseudo religion we see around us today...

  • hey don't you think the most impresive trick these two imbeciles could pull off is making themselves relevent to more than 7 people on the planet? I think they should limit themselves to what they are proficient at, hiding playing cards in their sleeves, smoking cigarettes and being essentially invisible to normal people - agree?

  • @mollkatless lol no one agrees with you because the imbecile to me is the idiot who is watching Penn and Teller talking about your dumb religion and doesn't like the message that Penn and teller are shoving down your throat with cold hard FACT rather than BULLSHIT and yet you are watching this video? Hmmm You sir are the moron..DURR AGREE????!!!

  • @MrYangFu - Oh so there were Facts? Let me know what the facts were, and please distiguish between points you liked and actual, scholarly-living-in-the-adult-world-facts were.

Just to help you to refine your point and make sure you are not wasting anymore of time (your top priority) - deeply understand the difference between testable-proveable facts and dumb tv show commentary - ok? got it jr? ok, now give it your best try

  • @mollkatless I agree with most of the things they declare is bullshit.

  • If you think Atheism as a religion, then you have completely misunderstood the term.

  • @SayidShazeen Actually, those that use it to describe what they believe misunderstand the term.

  • NO atheism is NOT a religion.

  • @blakeesmith84 If you believe in something, anything, and put faith into it. Whether it is a divine power, or karma, or science it is a religion.

  • @eklera There's a big difference between believing and knowing.

  • Atheism can be a religion too but i just dont belive in god and thats it

  • @jopi122 exactly

  • You realize Atheism is a religion too, right? Believing there is nothing after death is just depressing.

  • @eklera Depressing for who? I find it makes this life more precious. Why should a theist give a shit about this life if they're getting another one? Atheism isn't a religion, it's a rejection of deistic claims. Something one theist does to another theist of another religion. There's no god, no doctrine, no dogma, no rituals, just the rejection of deistic claims. How many times must we have to repeat this? That's right, theists don't care about truth. They just hear what they wanna hear.

  • @eklera lol you are just retarded duhh you do realize that atheism is just a name in itself that people used to label a group so that they can distinguish the difference between people. Look up atheism it says the absence of religion so where the fuck are you getting your facts from ya dumb cunt. Atheism is not a religion or is hypocritical because it is an idea that rejects religion not the absence of thought you moron

  • @MrYangFu Atheism is the title of this religion, but unlike the meaning of the word, they are not without religion. For Atheism, like Religion, is a faith system. Instead of putting faith in a divine power, you put it in humanity, science, or yourself. They shit on the religious and the religious shit on Atheists. Whatever. I feel sad for those who don't believe.

  • 6:29 Am I the only one thinking that P&T look like Van Helsing style vampire hunters here? :D

  • As soon as I saw Michael Shermer I got so happy.

  • I really wish they'd make another series of this show - it fucking rocked...:D

  • that the sun, moon and stars moved because of the earth spinning and travelling round the sun, natural disasters are the result of complex environmental factors and even from the colossal forces under the earths crust.

The very concept of god is becoming obsolete and yet people still reject this simple logic and have even killed the scientific pioneers of their time as "heretics" or "blasphemers" (or whatever the correct term is).

Now this complete rejection of common sense seems more mad to m

  • @cactuskilla i completely agree. I cant see how a questioning, logic based decision that there is no god is the sane option, rather than just blind faith in something that has no proof at all for existence.

At first, the only explanation we had for natural phenomena could only be explained as some kind of supernatural force, ancestral spirits or divine beings, what else could explain the ball of fire moving across the sky or the changing of the seasons? But as our knowledge grew, we discovered

  • @whisperdeeply their point is that unless you have THE original bible (if it can be said that there is such a thing) you cant say that everything in it was 100% consistent. Sure your point that things will be different or lost in translation but there are things that cant be put down to mistranslation. But what about the differences between the old and new testaments, doesnt god go from being a vengeful, almost paranoid god into a kind, benevolent, loving and forgiving god? Honestly i cant rea

  • So Teller is Jesus. It all makes sense now.

  • I fucking love this show.

  • Let the mockers mock, nothing new. Jesus cautioned not to throw your pearls before swine. The pearls? they are the oracles of God. The plan of salvation is foolishness to those who will perish. Deep down they understand that and that is why they are mad as hell.

  • The things that happened in the Bible. It all really happened. Unfortunately, due to thousands of retranslations, there have formed many inaccuracies and inconsistencies. When each book in the Bible was ORIGINALLY written, it was 100% true and accurate. But much has been lost over time.

  • @WhisperDeeply How can you prove this?

  • @Tarquillentte Have you seen how many different translations of the Bible there are? And more keep coming at a regular basis.

  • All religion is bullshit it is used as a tool to control the unruly masses.

  • @jspenco2 You are another lost brain dead zombie. A slave to society. Another loser. You are the one who is easy to control, because you have been trained to be controlled. You brain dead whack job

  • @jspenco2 Yeah, because that works oh so well.

  • @jspenco2 I've really learned the meaning of that in the past several months, now I'm beginning to really question *what* God is. I'm definitely not going atheist, because I know that there is so much more to the world then what we can physically experience, we can ONLY see 0.03% of what actually exists, so there has to be something more. When you have so many things that are psychic type of stuff happen in your life so often like me, then it's impossible to dismiss the fact that God is real. -

  • @jspenco2 - I just lost internet for awhile and forgot what I said. >.> I will try to remember it.

for me the question right now is *what* is God, I'm seeing two answers, one is that he is an almighty being like typical Christians believe, or God is just * consciousness* I'm seeing much more evidence looking back on my life, and at my surroundings that God is in a sense consciousness and is what connects everything, I'm not going atheist or anything, but it still feels like a big deal to me.

  • @jspenco2 Thanks for reading, it means allot to me to be able to just get this out and be able to think about it better, I hope that this doesn't give you any negative feelings because your just the first one that I felt like typing a reply to, you seem intelligent and like one of those people you meet in life where you just really connect to,

  • @jspenco2 so thanks for taking the time to read this, if you have anything that I could look at to try and find my own reality of what is *truth* then please feel free to share with me, the truth can be so subjective, that's a big part of how we all create our own realities, anyway, thanks again for reading, I'll stop rambling now. Sorry for all the replies, I wish youtube would make the letter limit much higher, it would help allot of peoples in boxes from getting spammed. :)

  • @jspenco2 Totally agreed

  • @MrAbortionPunch You pro abortion (murder) too bro? God can't exist. Kill yourself and find out faggot.

  • @jspenco2 K. So you said it, it must be true. You're a fuckin fag.

  • @jspenco2 righty oh karl marx...

  • @jspenco2 True, but that doesn't mean some ruler invented any religion or made the stories more suitable for their agenda.

  • @chica0616 lack of scientific knowledge. I choose the latter. Perhaps your mind is too small and clouded with the limitations you have set for yourself by believing in a story book rather than every bit of evidence that clearly contradicts it. Very smart?

  • if people believe in the Adam and Eve idea starting the human race then anyone married is married to their relative. no?

  • Fuck, I want that fried chicken.

  • They stated in the beginning of this video that they couldnt argue against blind faith that is why they didnt feature any priest or clergy members,{cut to Teller slapping Penn in head with bible.}

  • @defmanz Since you think you know everything, could you answer my question smart ass. This show is based on opinions and I have one too. In school, we were taught that dinosaurs ruled the earth first and no humans. Then, in church we are taught that Adam and Eve were the first humans to walked the earth. I've asked my high school History teacher and one of my History professors in college, so you know I do have a degree. They couldn't answer me. So if your holier than thou, don't judge me.

  • thumbs up if you went to get your bible
