There's society's beautiful, where she has to do things she regrets, that are destructive, false, and hurtful but addictive.Then there's God's beautiful, it only requires us being pure and true. So she's trying to be society's beautiful, and then realizes it's wrong - but she's addicted- it's a sickness.She's asking will God still think her beautiful. The answer is yes,He will.
It could be more subtle than that. Obviously, looking the way she does, being in the music industry, there would be some pressure to pay more attention to superficial beauty, rather than the beauty God expects of us.

Stop trying to criticize her! her music is for GOD! this can be about your situation with God. like for example about vices. our temptations as humans and our flaws she could have been going through a phase where she was being tempted. and we can all relate because we all make some decisions that we later regret! and we cry out to God, and we hope that he still will see us as his beautiful children and that he will not frown upon us!!!

No, I don't see your point. A lot of cutters are trying to work through their addictions once and for all. All humans have to cope with their pain, and some do it in an unhealthy manner. When you're a Christian, you're supposed to give it up to God. All Christians struggle with sin, and for some it may be cutting, others lust... whatever, they are all sins that God can forgive.

From one of your replies I realise the song may be about cutting and then I think that's what the hunger is for, which makes more sense - I thought it was about her actually flirting with a guy and something along the lies of her other song "the situation". But it makes a lot more sense - cutting. Not the actual cutting, but that it would be the meaning :)

cutters don't always want to give up on life, they have found a way to cope with the pain in their life that isn't the best.
you can be a cutter and still love God.
you can come to God as a cutter, the same as anyone else with an addiction, it takes time to over come it. its hard.
