But as for the Joe video, it just breaks my heart that he did that. I hope and pray he won't do this again and will understand what he's done and how it has affected his Christian image. Unless they do, I still believe they hold these values, they just aren't talking about it. Also, they were never in it b/c of money. At the beginning of their career, they nearly lost everything they had, but they trusted God to help them through and He did. Now they are extremely charitable with their income. Over half is given to charity.

I've prayed for these boys since I first discovered them, (a few years ago, now).. and I guess that their sudden rise to extreme fame has really (recently, especially) shocked me into the realization that they're being faced with things that they weren't before; they need prayer and support through this time in their lives.

Revelation 3:16 says "So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth" (ESV) and there music my frnd...lukewarm.
Regardless if there songs are about God or not, they (they being the three of them) still glorify our Father in heaven. You sense true humility in the way the talk and compose themselves not just in there interview, but how they live their lives. I think that is the greatest example we can be is to let Jesus be shown through our lives by our actions and not just words. It's true actions speak louder than words, and these guys actions are really inspiring.
After listening to this interview 3x, and reading the comments, I think that we all need a better understanding of what God requires of us. They talk about Bible study on tour & prayer; about a personal relationship; it's their experience and their relationship with the Lord in public. YouTube - a lot of people see this. I commend them for being bold in this media. In all we do, give God the glory & thats what they are doing. Thank you Jonas Brothers.
3:22-3:35 I love Nicks point that NO other religion gives you that one to one connection.God is soo good.He loves everyone,he forgives our sins,he dosnt even punish us for our wrong doings.And on top of that,he died on the cross for us so that we dont have to go to hell.Who else would have done that? Their songs are not about making you feel good and your relationship with God is not about feeling good. Like Joe said, in their songs, the relationship COULD be about a girl, but listen again, the message might be about God(Nick's 1st record, WYLMITE, Inseparable, Love Is On Its Way)Stronger was written with the Christian band Leeland.Just the fact that they are young men 17-23 who have publicly resisted the normal temptations that come at that age, is a testimony in itself.
The Jonas Brothers are all SO talented in so many ways.But what makes them stand out from other bands is their character. They continue to impress me everyday. Their Christian upbringing comes out in everything they do and they are amazing, mature-minded young gentlemen who just happen to be the coolest guys on the planet. Singers, songwriters, actors, and still very humble young men who are always looking for ways to give back. I love the Jonas Brothers!

Not every pastor's kid is called to ministry either. Their dad said his boys weren't called 2 preach like he did. Wow. People judge them all the time because of their beliefs. I know that it was hard for them, but what I really respect about them is that even though they live their life like many others would want their life to be, they still find the time to thank God for everything. That is a great message to people because even though you thank fans who helped you get to where you are, the one you really should thank is God. Thats why I love these boys sooo much no matter what other people think!
Oh gosh this is very heart felt and you can tell they are real by what they say. There love is there because of who they are in God. And as another one on here said if it was not for God they would not be where they are now.
That was awesome! I love to hear that they each have a personal relationship with God because that is the only way to be saved--not going to church or being a good person.

Their songs are not about making you feel good and your relationship with God is not about feeling good. Their songs are about working through the trials of life, and your relationship with should be about leaning to rely on Him, not your feelings.

@ArikaZemola they have sang christian songs like dear god, time for me 2 fly, stronger, joy to the world(a christmas prayer)...and not all christian artist make thier songs about God like steven curtis chapmans song cinderella for instance..i believe God wants people to have fun in a good clean way..its not like their breaking God rules..their songs r pure, clean, it does not defile the spirit so whats wrong with that

Like Joe said, in their songs, the relationship COULD be about a girl, but listen again, the message might be about God(Nick's 1st record, WYLMITE, Inseparable, Love Is On Its Way)Stronger was written with the Christian band Leeland.Just the fact that they are young men 17-23 who have publicly resisted the normal temptations that come at that age, is a testimony in itself.

The Jonas Brothers are all SO talented in so many ways.But what makes them stand out from other bands is their character. They continue to impress me everyday. Their Christian upbringing comes out in everything they do and they are amazing, mature-minded young gentlemen who just happen to be the coolest guys on the planet. Singers, songwriters, actors, and still very humble young men who are always looking for ways to give back. I love the Jonas Brothers!

I love the answers they gave, but the only issue i have with them is that they don't sing music about God. If they were doing wat God wanted them to do they would glorify him with music to him not about girls and love.

@tingus3 If all Christians were working in the church, them would anyone get saved except those that came to church? That is not the right attitude to have. People need to be out in the world to be a light, which is what they have tried to do.

@sabrinabrian24 just because your a Christian doesn't mean you have to sing about him. because first of all they are signed with Disney. ? not only that but some of there songs really do have a hidden message behind them. like i think there was one song that went like "girl you better pray to our one and only god" but it was a song about a girl that broke there heart. they are truly christians and they aren't afraid to show it

@sabrinabrian24 i understand that. i'm a christian too but honestly, do you really have to get technical? god has obviously blessed them with this. everything happens for a reason. clearly this is not a sin if there still doing good with it. god blessed them with amazing voices and god already had a plan for them. and you should probably chck again. they have a christian album.

"Sin City" is the place we need to be, not because we're in sin, but because it's the people caught up in sin the need Jesus. I understand not being an idol, but that was never JB's intention. You are entitled to your opinion, but I think you may need to rethink your view of the people in the world.

I do see your point, but I wish that people would consider the possibility that they may never have a major moral failure like Brittney Spears, that just because they are mainstream does not mean that they will fail. What they are doing is exactaly what the church needs, strong role models at the ideal age, to show people of non faith what Christian life is about while connecting with them through their music.

@sabrinabrian24 i just watched this today. i agree that so many people in hollywood claimed to be christians. for example britney spears thanked God on a pole. im sick it. but i have yet to see the jonas brothers act that way. you cant judge them for what other celebrities have done because they are not them. its like saying they can't be christians BECAUSE they are celebrities. you cant judge for what you think they are going to do. they are still gos children and god can only judge. @sabrinabrian24 Don't want to argue, but speaking from the view of someone studying music ministry, not every Christian w/ musical talent is called into music ministry. Not every pastor's kid is called to ministry either. Their dad said his boys weren't called 2 preach like he did. Also, their songs aren't blantantly about God, but they do show a bibical worldview w/ their view of love. It all in line w/ Bible. Btw, their dad was out of ministry long before their career. Nick was a toddler.

@sabrinabrian24 im not trying to argue either i just want to explain that its okay to do what they do and be followers of god. they use to be in the choir at church they still sometimes are...well alittle bit, but when they were young nick got discovered and he pleaded to his mom if he could do the job. i used to go to church im a christian too but just because i want to go to an academy to become a director i cant do that. i learned u dont hav to go to church to be a christian.

@sabrinabrian24 if you believe jesus is your lord and savior then thats all you nee, besides the church building is not the church they take there time to study and pray. the people are the church. i want to follow my dream of being a director. it doesnt change my view of religion, but i dont want to be stuck with a shitty job i want to provide for my family...directing pays well and who doesnt gossip about relationships it only another form of gossip and in their songs they trust us

@sabrinabrian24 bounce was just something they did for fun like playing with friends doing things like shopping or doing webshows they did somthing to make us laugh and yes there dad was a pastor he wanted to help the boys stay grounded like there mom dont you think they did a good job. think if all the celebs had parents to keep them grounded there would be a decrease in divas or divos or people dancing on poles thanking god. do you think them following there dream is wrong???

Wow. People judge them all the time because of their beliefs. I know that it was hard for them, but what I really respect about them is that even though they live their life like many others would want their life to be, they still find the time to thank God for everything. That is a great message to people because even though you thank fans who helped you get to where you are, the one you really should thank is God. Thats why I love these boys sooo much no matter what other people think!
