la marca de Mortlock es perfecta, pero su tackle es peligroso porque va muy arriba, el árbitro no lo vió bien porque si no era penal para Australia y hasta una tarjeta amarilla para él. También hubo un error en el pase y en la recepción del mismo, ya que el 7 toma la pelota muy atrás y cuando gira ya lo tiene al defensor encima. Así y todo le perdonó la vida porque no fué tan brusco el golpe, fué rápido.

@Tawhguy France were in an easy group (that they were lucky to get through) played England in the QF (who are terrible at the moment) and then got very very lucky when a french speaking, half french ref sent Wales' captain and best player off and they still only won by 1 point in the SF. And despite their terrible form at the WC without Dan Carter, New Zealand could only beat them by a point. France are not "our best" NZ we lucky that they didn't play Wales.

@Tawhguy Don't get me wrong, the All blacks are a great team, and deserve to be no.1, but the way they played in the final I'm not sure they could have beaten Wales, they lose that spark when Carter isn't at 10. Why am I an idiot if I assume Wales could have beaten NZ? I don't see your logic, Wales were on fine form as you admit, and NZ were not at their best. To say I'm an idiot for believing Wales could have won is a strange thing to say, they could have, and to say otherwise is just arrogance

@thedekutree Carter overrated. Yes hes good, but he isnt the whole team. Cruden could do just as much damage if he wasnt such a midget.The dynamics of the game would completely change if Wales were in the final. France are well known for being inconsistent, but when they play well, they REALLY play well. History and Statistics are on the all blacks side, I dont think theyve ever beaten us, I wish we played them in the final though, they deserved it more than France

@Tawhguy I will agree that while Wales have had patches of brilliance over the last 50 years, they have never performed consistently on the world stage, whereas I can't think of a recent NZ team that isn't world class. Wales beat the All blacks in 1953 last, so I can understand why it would seem like Wales have never beaten them. :). Agreed, France can be class, and I wouldn't mind losing to that side at their best, it's when we lost to them when they weren't at their best.
