  • @elbasrever

The previous Hadith regarding 10 hasanat for each letter can be found in

Fazail-e-amaal by sheikh moulana Zakariyya khandalvi under the section of virtues of the Quran

Furthermore if you take time to read this section and the various ahadith relating to the benefits of reciting the holy Quran you will find that this action is not in the least bit pointless and is very rewarding

  • @elbasrever

It is not useless to read the Quran even though you dont understand it

There's was once a boy who used to read the Quran with his grandad but he thought there was no point as he didn't understand it

His granddad gave him a dirty bucket with holes and said go full water on this and bring it back before the water finishes

So he went and by the time he came back all the water was gone. His grandad said you Were not fast enough do it again

So this time he ran faster and came back

  • it is friday

  • @elbasrever

[Surah Qamar 54:40] And We have indeed made the Qur’an easy to memorise, so is there one who would remember?

look ALLAH swt is asking us!!!! ALLAH swt asking us!!!!!!! I DNT THINK ITS JOKE... so we all muslims need to understand and try to memorise quran..... INSHAALLAH we all will do it.. INSHAALLAH... at least we can try ...... WHEN ALLAH swt says that Quran is easy then I GUESS WE CAN TRY TO LEARN... AM IT RIGHT elbasrever ....???

  • Comment removed

  • @fazablackcat many translators have interpreted the meaning to be 'understand' not memorise, which makes much more sense, of course theres nothing wrong at all with learning arabic... i would love to learn it myself, that isnt the argument, i was arguing against those who say it MUST be read in arabic for any gain, those whom Allah swt describes as donkeys carrying books, Salam

  • @elbasrever hmm... if thats d case.. sorry for misunderstanding......... MAY ALLAH swt bless u.... ameen.......

  • @elbasrever yes i agree with u.. i understand Quran in english.. its still in progres... but I would love to learn arabic some day to draw the accurate meaning of our Quran revealed on our PROPHET Muhammad saw................. I LOVE TO LEARN MY MUHAMMAD SAW LANGUAGE.. AND I WOULD SUGGEST THE SAME TO U........ HV GUD TIME... :)

  • @fazablackcat thats very good (:

i would like to learn arabic too... such a beautiful language,

all the best, may Allah guide you

  • masha allah shiikhaan cod qurxanna allaha udanbi dhaafo]

  • MaSHaLLaH .his got voice

  • memorising the first 10 ayats of this surah protects us from Dajjal

  • mashaallah so beautiful, wonderful voice!

  • learn this and it will keep the hell fire away from you.

  • the second part of your question, according to the hadith whoever recites surah al kahf will have light from one friday to another, since it says recite we should recite it and not just listen to the recitation.

I hope I answered your question and allah knows best.

  • @aradmani1 JazaKhallah Khair

    Thanks for answering my question

  • No, brother listening to surah kahf is not the same as memorising it. According to the hadith of our Prophet, the person who memorises the first 10 ayah will be protected from the fitnah of the dajjal. So we should pertain to what is said by our prophet. And further our Nabi (PBUH) said the fitnah of dajjal is greatest which will befall on this ummah, so it is better to memorise.

  • What if you haven't memorized this Surah. Do you get the same reward by just listening to this as to someone actually reciting it on Jumuah?

    Could someone please explain!!!

  • Please memorise the first 10 ayah of this surah to be protected from the fitnah of dajjal which is reported in al Bukharee.

  • mash allah great voice.

  • anyone know where i can download the whole quran with english translation by salah bukhatir in mp3? jazakallah

  • Salaams to the ummah. Hi detroitballers, check out this guy videos, Wisam Shareef. He teaches the letters of the Arabic alphabet good. Good luck, and keep at it.

  • i love this recitation of this sheich/skallah

  • A few weeks back, this girl was in my head and I decided I should approach her so things can go further but with so called clean intentions. At the same time I had the wrong crowd influencing me. I was confused and was not sure if this is right or if I should go back to the lifestyle of when I was seeing girls. I went to the prayer room at my school, and before opening the Quran I asked Allah to guide me with the first verses I lay my eyes on. Behold it was Surah Kahf verse 28. Subhanallah.

  • @danymo007 allahu akbar subhaanAllah!

  • Thank you so much for the English translation! I am a new Muslim and there is no way I would understand this beautiful recitation without the subtitles since I am still learning the alphabet in Arabic. :)

  • Mashallah!!!

  • Holy Quran is obviously in ARABIC and everyone should Learn Arabic to recite in its original Text but do remember one thing The Entire Quran is the Word Of God to understand and practice and hence translation is must for everyone to understand. It was revealed in Arabic for the geographical location of its revelation...This is the last and final testament for everyone let the good news be spread to everyone and ofcourse ALLAh knows the best.

  • Alhamdulillah! Bukhatir has a beautiful voice. Don't understand how anyone would dislike this post. May Allah(swt) have mercy upon us all.(Ameen)

  • May Allah's name be forever be praised, and may he save us from the torment of hellfire (Amin).

  • Jumuah today!

  • why would someone dislike this?????????

  • I like it but sometime people don't like it but I think that I like it it nice :)

  • Jumuah today!

  • The jumu'ah prayer is half the dhuhr prayer, for convenience, preceded by a khutbah (a sermon as a technical replacement of the two reduced rakaʿāt of the ordinary dhuhr prayer). Allah did so it may be easy upon us to do Friday prayers

  • Jumuah today!

  • may Allah reward you HMCheema for all the good intention you put into making this AmeenJaazakallahu Khairan

  • MashaAllah this is beautiful!

I wish to learn this surah.. inshaAllah

  • MashaAllah I learnt this from him amazing:)

  • masha ALLAH

  • Does anyone know the name of the recitor?

  • @calberkeley01 Salah bukhatir. its in the title :)

  • @calberkeley01 Salaams, the reciter is Salah Bukhatir, i am sure because he is my favourite reciter and i listen to many of his recitation

  • La ilaha il lahu

  • he has a very beautiful voice. but isnt it haram that it translation in english? a surah have to be in the arabic language. that is what i am been learned. (enzelna quran arabian)

  • @f1990f1 The english text is not the quran itself. Its the interpretation or the translation of the quran to help the majority of the people understand what Allah wants from us.

  • @ameenebrahim ok thnx -)

  • @f1990f1 It's in no way Haram to want to know what you're reciting in your own language. try to look up the translation of he Qur'an, and a whole new world of beauty opens up.

  • @f1990f1 If there was no translation into English, only the Arabs would hold this beautiful religion. Instead the majority of Muslims are Asians and South East Asians numbering in the hundred Millions.

  • @f1990f1 then how are non-arabic speakers supposed to understand the quran ?

  • @f1990f1 if it wasn't translated to english, then we english speakers would not understand it.... so hamdolelah that it issss translated. =]

  • @f1990f1

dear brother read the Quran rather than giving too much importance to the so called religious scholars.Allah in Quran tells that we should be very careful in calling something haram because only those things are haram which Allah himself has declared Haram and not to call anything haram which Allah has not called haram as there is great ill or evil in that also that the jews had left their religion in the hands of their religious scholers who then minipulated it for their own gain

  • @f1990f1 watt u learn is true.. but for people who cant understand arabic..

they can read the meaning and knw watt the sura is talking about..(:

  • @f1990f1 thats some strict teaching, let me guess your learning from saudis :p

  • @f1990f1 the recitation is in arabic, the english is what it means. The sahabi Salman AlFarsi was the first translator of the quran, to persian. This translation was done under the authority of the Prophet (saw)

"And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?"Qamar54;22

"We have revealed to you the Qur'an in your own tongue, so that you may give good news to those who guard against evil and give warning to a contentious nation."Maryam: 5:97

    Jzk

  • @f1990f1 haram?? of course not, yes it is BEST to read and understand Quran in arabic as it is the original, but no its not possible for every1 to understand Quranic arabic, so we hav to hav explanation of Quran in the language that we best understand. But people like in pakistan or india we at least learn to recite quran in arabic but read translation for understanding it. i think thats acctepable.

  • @f1990f1 no brother, it would be useless for a English speaking person to read the Quran in arabic... it would be like reading a map in a foreign language, Allah sent the Quran in Arabic because Muhammad, peace be upon him was an arab.

  • @elbasrever Assalmu aliakum, Its also said that the Arabic language is one of the most beautiful languages because of the diversity of adjectives and pronouns available. The Arabs had no significance to civilization before Islam except in arabic poetry. Allah challenges all of mankind to come up with a surah like a surah in the quran and none could meet this challenge.

  • @elbasrever Arabs took pride in their poetry and language and felt a mastery over it. Allah tants them by putting the letters Alif Lam Meem saying look Arabs, here are the letters of your language that you take such pride in. He then proceeds to reveal the Quran with such supreme use of the language that the poets are astounded.

Its like if a rapper in a rap battle today said "A B C" and then drops illest lines continuously

The Quran is a linguistic miracle and the Arabs recognized it.

  • @Azamspazam91 hmm that is a very good explination, but my statement had nothing to do with 1,2,3, was just pointing out its useless reading the Quran if you dont understand what it means, salaam.

  • @elbasrever yepp, agreed :D wassalamu alaikum

  • @elbasrever: Salama Alaykum wrwb, brother or sister. I want to correct you. It is not useless reading the Quran if you don't understand. Remember that for each letter of Qur’an you will receive insaAllah: 10 hasanat (as minimum).

    Alaykum Salam

  • @Donndepp Salam alaikum (:

Where do these calculations of good deeds come from? I haven't heard of this before....

  • @elbasrever: Salaam: This is a very good question. The rewards of reciting the Quran are many. An authentic hadith in At-Tirmithee states: Whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allah, he will have a reward. And that reward will be multiplied by ten. I am not saying that “Alif, Laam, Meem” is a letter, rather I am saying that “Alif” is a letter, “laam” is a letter and “meem” is a letter.” So increase your recitation of the Qur’an to gain these merits, and to gain the following merit as well.

  • @Donndepp thank you, i didnt know about this (:

  • @f1990f1 How should i understand arabic.. my mother tongue is hindi.. its impossible for me to understand quran... but inshaAllah ivl learn Arabic and draw the true meaning of Quran but till that for understanding is essential.......

  • @fazablackcat you dont have to learn arabic! find a copy in hindi (:

imagine the amount of knowledge you could gain from the Quran in the time you will waste learning arabic

  • @elbasrever you would miss the beauty of the arabic language. I hope to learn it someday.

  • Are you sure this is Salah Bukhatir? This sounds like Sheikh As-Sudais.

  • JazakAllah want to know of a good investment u will reap guaranteed profit no loss n no capital only a few minutes of your time listening to the recitation of the Wise Quraan

  • Can anyone tell me more about the reciter please?

  • I love salah bhukhair.....

  • The Hadith about memorizing ten ayat because of Ad-Dajal refers to the first ten of surah kahf not just any ten ayats from surah kahf.

  • Ad-Dajjal, the antichrist will be the greatest fitnah for mankind....Whoever memorizes ten Ayat from the beginning of Surat Al-Kahf(18) will be protected from the Dajjal. (Muslim)

  • The Roman Martyrology mentions the Seven Sleepers of Ephesus under the date of 27 July , as follows: "Commemoration of the seven Holy Sleeper of Ephesus, who, it is recounted, after undergoing martyrdom, rest in peace, awaiting the day of resurrection."[1] The Byzantine Calendar commemorates them with feasts on 4 August and 22 October. They are also regarded as pious in Islam, and are known as "People of the Cave" (Ashab Al-Kahf).

  • A legend about them tells of the falling asleep of seven young men in a cave, who wake up after a great deal of time has passed. The basic outline of the tale appears in Gregory of Tours (b. 538 - d. 594), and in Paul the Deacon's (b. 720 - d. 799) History of the Lombards. The best-known version of the story appears in Jacobus de Voragine's Golden Legend. Their story also appears in the Qur'an (Surah 18, verse 9-26).

  • he is really t he best :D

  • mashallah what a great voice

  • The recitation of Surah Kahf is a safe guard from the Dajjal's turmoil. The Prophet (s) said, "Whoever memorises the first ten verses of Surah Kahf will be safe from the Dajjal's Fitna." (Abu-Darda / Muslim)

Yeah you can absolutely recite the ten verses that you have memorized in your Salah..You can recite the first two verses in Salah if you want.....

but there is a hadith of prophet Muhammad (saw) where he advises us to recite the whole surah on Fridays (doesn't have to be in salah)....and if we do we will have a light from the jummah we recite on until the next jummah....So insha'Allah try to read this Surah every Friday..
