Ever since I was a kid, I'd drive from Kansas to Utah with my family. Those long car rides were some of the most relaxing, peaceful and sleepy times of my life.
I don't get rides like that anymore. Your video made me homesick for it.
I just got back from a trip to redbluff CA and Im head over to washington DC in a couple of weeks to take my dad for a family thing lol I havent been traveling since I was 19 and Im 42 now WOW what a time to start...
To all Michael Nyman fans: You MUST watch the video of "Let There Be Light "... it's a song by MICHAEL NYMAN with rock noir band BELLADONNA and it's based on his music from "The Piano". Nyman himself plays piano on it... search for "nyman belladonna" here on youtube and you'll find it!! :-)
I hope to do this someday soon, it seems very enthralling... of course I won't be taking my big ass truck because thats damn well a full tank of gas to get across my freaking neighborhood... :(
Free energy is finaly here! But the Oil coporations life depends on covering this up,Get a motor that needs no gas or electric input at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,take part in the revolution!
Great! Moving from the congested, car-loving, it-takes-3-hours-to-go-20-miles-via-public-transportation, fantasyland Los Angeles to Washington DC this summer to attend a grad school. I'm hoping I could make a movie during the trip. Thanks!
@raccordv4 In August, Im taking my e90 M3 on a 6000 mile trip. Ohio to Yellowstone, Glacier Natl Park in Montana, Boise, Salt Lake City, Death Valley, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Arches National Park, Vail, Denver, and back to Ohio. Why WOULDNT you put an M3 through a drive like that? Im so excited. A dream trip in my dream car.
Wow, amazing. Did you pick any hitchers up on the way? And did they murder you and your partner in a gory and imaginative manner. Like on that film with Rutger Whatshisface?
Great Job!!... I have an OLD video of a trip from NYC to S.F. done in 1970.. shot on 16mm film with the camera rigged to fire one fram every so many fraction of a mile.
"Apparent" speed was something like 14,000 mph??
Too kewl you guys did it with today's technology!!
It's very dangerous to drive that fast and you should be ashamed of yourselves for recklessly endangering not only your own lives but those of every driver you so ungraciously shared the roads with.
I've always thought of trying this. If anyone is taking long road trip like this from the D.C metro area, please let me know, we can share the cost ;-)
Wish I knew ya were going. Would have had ya stop as you passed through Sacramento and take me with. It's been years since I have been in DC. (More specifically, Alexandria) Nice vid.
I took San Diego to Arizona one day on hwy 5 (I believe) and it was HOT! I was going 100-110 in sperts when the heat was getting to me. I was on a motorcycle with 3 hard bags and that was the fastest I could go without getting the deadly fork shake. Once you get out of the town areas you rarely see speed limit signs, but I'm sure a cop could pull you over for going 80.
If i was a girl, i would get pregnant as many times as possible, then have abortions after the third month of being pregnant so i would deliver a potato sized 1/3 developed dead fetus, then i would take the fetus, put it in a jar of preservative liquid and put it on a shelf in a secret room in my house, and i would do it until i had so many that the rooms walls were nothing but potato sized aborted fetuses, then i would have a kid and when they're bad i would make them sit in the fetus room.
