Well, Barney liked John Simm's performance. And John's been a friend of the band ever since. I saw Joy Division at the Queens hall in Leeds...The headline bands were Hawkwind and PIL...No one gave a shit about Joy Division or stay to watch them play( they came on late and most went home) then Curtis topped himself !!
