It may be a few more years, but Iran has a growing, young, popular, secular movement. Given the chance, they could be like Lebanon in the near future, installing a secular democracy where an oppressive theocracy has been in power. They almost won the recent election.
When that happens, we could see major reform throughout the Islamic world.
Nukes are obsolete in this situation. We don't want to wipe them out. If necessary, we can eliminate specific targets with minimal civilian casualties.

I did the electric bill to gas mileage math...comes out to ten cents a gallon. Muslim Empire was strong throughout the 10th to 18th centuries and they attacked many lands unprovoked. For example India was a land of Hindus that was attacked by Muslim armies and Muslims stayed there for 1000 years. India is much bigger in area than any country in Middle East, let alone a small territory of Palestine.

Well if you consider that during the korean war when the chinese attacked us thru north korea we did not even have enough bullets to kill them. My grandfather said they came over the hill and the mountain looked like it was moving. After killing a couple thousand of them another 50 thousand came over hill and thats how he got captured. If most of our military is in Germany, Japan and Iraq...soon to be Iran. They could capture the USA and its arsenal in 2 days. And thats according to the ARMY.
