It's pretty cool that it's gotten so many views in a week, and by the way I know of other videos which've gotten lots more views in less time without any connection to a competition like 'The Shot', so people wouldn't be actively searching for them. I guess it's just the way YouTube and the internet works sometimes, just a thought :)
What am I doing wrong, in fact what are all the other 65 members of the competition doing wrong?
There is a thing called VPN's and also proxies, which sporadically change the IP address of the "viewer", this service of upping youtube views can be bought over the likes of ebay and such for as little as £5.
@Lazaruseifer What can i say? It is a burden to me that so many people have viewed my video?! Its upsetting as i worked so hard on this short film and you guys are now accusing me of something i would never choose to or even know how to do! The video was in a feature made by Jessops on the Youtube Homepage, as i've said before, i assume this is how it got the views?! Anyway, its getting frustrating now, so this is the last time i'm going to defend myself.
George, stop getting defensive. I congratulated you on your success of over 20,000 views, that is a feat in itself.
If you look at my comment, I weren't accusing you of anything, I simply stated that you can buy views for youtube and some people could in fact be seen as 'cheats', it's very easy and quite cheap. Please don't try to label me as attacking you by stating that you are "Defending yourself" and trying to victimise yourself.
IN fact, not long after you posted this reply to my comment, quite bizarrely one of your friends called CharlieT, quite bizarrely replied to a video I posted over 3 years ago saying, "I hate it when people use bots".
I'm quite sorry mate, but if you feel you need to get one of your mates to get your retribution or revenge on me in such a childish way, then I'm starting to more believe the comments a few down.
@Lazaruseifer I'm sorry he did that mate, that was on his own accord, i didn't ask him to. I'm not trying to victimise myself but surely you can understand how frustrating it is to work so hard on a project, put it out to the public, get excited that people are viewing it and then be shot down by accusations of cheating. As i say, i'm done with it now, i know i've done nothing wrong and Jessops will be able to see that. Goodnight.
@1978tcooper The thing is, i completely agree that it is insane and i'm really not sure how it has happened either!I am an honest filmmaker and i would never use any kind of computerised bot in order to up my views?! It would do me no favours anyway as this competition is judged on concept not popularity! Also, surely Jessops would be able to see if the views were coming from a single location?!
45 seconds of digital alarm clock!!? One of the most annoying sounds of all time. Then she turns off an analog twin bell clock!
That being said... really enjoyed and music, actress (seems very sweet) and camera work. Especially in bike riding scenes! shame you used bots (only joking, no idea what they are!)
@Jsleeman56 Hi mate, thanks for the kind words! Just so you know, i didn't use any kind of bots?! All i know is there was a Jessops feature yesterday on Youtube.com homepage!
What a lovely film, I've seen a lot of the "shot" films and this one is clever and well shot, not sure about the commercial ending though but great job ! And to pecks006.just for once let it be a happy ending not go into what for some might have been obvious attention seeking shock, let it be. . .
Yh its gd nicely made. U know what would have been gd, is if she found him hanging in the woods or decapitated or something. A sick murderer with a vendetta against her, leads her to the locations of murdered friends & family using the photos as clues. Just a thought....
Nice short - My favourite

In a little over a week, 21,000 views.

Almost 22, 000 views when most other 'The Shot' films have got a maximum of 5,000. Yeah right.
Nice concept, but agree with jakegile, alarm clock is super annoying and the sound doesn't fit the clock. But, nice story.

Without a doubt, the best film I have ever seen.
And not everyone here know's what a 'bot' is.
Good work, Foxy :)

Nice enjoyable pleasing story. Just ashame you've clearly used a bot to spam your views up.
