  • I miss my baby rat. Her name was Panda and she passed away because of an ear infection that was causing her to tilt her head. I had no money to pay for a vet so i had to watch her suffer. ):

  • I don't want any mice and rats, because my mom is scared to death of rodents. My friend John Gallow owns mice and rats. Gross!

  • My Mom thought of that stereotype, and afterwords, she really got attached to them, :)

  • just an Update BasementBen I now have 7 rats in total and will start breeding for stores localy... I have my first litter claimed for pets from friends but second litter goes for stores.

  • Aww that sounds great! I wish I could afford that now. I will keep that as my dream once I have land of my own, that is really neat!

It sounds a good job to do, good job. :)

    Ben.

  • AWW CAN I GET ONE!

  • Hey there Rok>!

I do deffinetly suggest rats, if you have a history of good health with animals, and have some extra space for taking care of them, they are really good pets!!! I am glad I proved to myself and many others that they are not ugly mean animals, they are just like hammies with a tale, heheh>

    Ben.

  • And also to say, they cost as much as a candy bar, :D!!! They breed em pretty easily.

    Ben.

  • Im Currently Breeding Rats and Sell then only for pets.. Not food and mine are always handled and i can do anything with mine... his named Cuddles... im putting my photoes up of my rats tonight... take a peek if u want :) sorry that u had to get rid of ur pets. have u ever been able to hold a mouse?

  • Oh! that sounds exciting. :)

I would love to have a breedery for rats. It was always a dream, but our house property cant do it here, :(

Yah, Ive held my mice before, they are very cute! They never will bite if you hold them, but to pick them up out of their cage, they dont like it i guess. Ill take a look at your rats:)

    THanks,

    Ben

  • Whats was the name of the song and writter...? cuz i love country music and that was neat.... those rats and mice where cute.. Are mice harder to train to hold then rats( rats seem to not care if thier held...) But what about mice?

  • Thanks for commenting :)

Well, couldn't find the author of the song, found this song on some ancient cassete tapes, hehe>

It is called The New Brick Road, played by two mandolins, and a Chehlo.

OH! And rats are deffinetly better pets than mice, mice are very cute, but smell bad and are quick and nippy and can't potty train.

Rats are smart deffinetly good pets :),

    Ben.

  • Is keeping a mouse hard, smelly, annoying? When they bite do they bite hard, because I might get one and i want to know everything about keeping them as possible. Thanks :)

  • Oh yikes>> Yes they smell horibleeeee

    lol>

And when they bite, they shouldnt, it doesnt hurt, but it is just a tiny nip, their jaws arent very large to bite much. They dont bite when u hold them though. And as far as I know, they make a horrible mess, u cant train them much. I see in youtube name breeder", so if youre breeding mice as a job, thats actually a good idea, they breed very well, just do it in separate room like garage, They are cute, but messy.

    Thanks for asking, :)

    Ben.

  • I would say if you are the type of person who is healthy with animals, (rodents) and can clean the cages and dont mind the smell, your good to go. I just had to let them go because of allergies and I got sickness from them. I guess it seems some people are stronger than others with that sorta thing....

  • I have two rats and one of mine is named Lily.

  • Oh that is neat! I think Lilly is a good name for a rat. Thank you for commenting> ^_^

    Ben.

  • That was nice video about your pet rats! They are so cute! I have my own quinea pig, its cute too.

Good that you uploaded video by long time ago. I will upload new video tonight about my progress in new cell. Maybe it will help you to make your own too.

Nice rats! I give 5 start!

  • Thank you for commenting, it is always appreciated. I thought the music was neat. I am about halfway done with biogas, the silicone sealant takes a while to cure.

Hope to see your cell soon, good job.

    Ben.

  • But still, you can send video about how your biogas cell look like now. It could be interesting to see it.

    Music was good.
