  • Horrible video

  • poor two freaks

  • WTF! Where was this at? LA or NY?!

  • I wonder if more video footage of this exists? I have the Mp3s and always wondered if there was vid. Patton has been my favorite singer since 89 and Buckethead my fav guitar player since 91 when I got Praxis Transmutation. Than had them special order the Japanese Import of Bucketheadland. Vai was my favorite until I discovered the Buckethead. It was about time these two got toghether and tore shit up. Patton was on the last Praxis aswell

  • wait....did he switch guitars in there? Cause I looked and he had one guitar and then i looked away and looked back and it was different....

  • that sucked

  • I just wish they'd try it again. The album they put out together wasn't too great quality. They need to harmonize their fucking whacked out experiments. Love em both to death.

  • add some claypool and the world would explode from awesome-overload

  • AND THIS REMAINED UNRELEASED ??? F****N S**T

  • the guy who owns this is a dick, he will not trade this for anything, he's showing off, most people don't give a shit, most don't know the first show was wiht two different people, this was better, but IS THIS YOU BEIGN COOL? I have stuf you don't

  • He dropped his bucket about a minute in, haha. But is it just me, or does this look really fast-forwarded?

  • @Adub0stubb123489 ur fcking retarded

  • @AntiChris1996 and you are a cute boy chris ;)

  • Comment removed

  • You know, i mean the part when he sings ( 0:14 - 0:30 ) , because the rest of the song is just that:

    GHAHAHAHHGHHPRRR PRRR pRRR WOKAWOKAOKWA

    XDD

  • What does Patton says in this song?

Sorry, my English is not the best, as you see, and i can't understand what Mike sings in this rare -but cool- song...

    Thanks Everybody

  • WTF.. is this it sounds like shit, u r all fools. I'm usually a fan of both bucket and patton... this sucks bad u dumbass sheep fanboys..

  • Wish Patton would work with Claypool. There's no way he can't hate him. Claypool is a bass god.

  • wow.......that was gooood

  • Really?? I mean.. really?? One of the best guitarists teams up with one of the best vocalists and THIS is what they come up with? Hoo haaa shackk shacckk hooo hep hep..

  • So fuckin' crazy! I never understood how Patton could work with people like Buckethead and Maximum Bob and he never wound up doing anything with Claypool. Except maybe talking shit about him.

  • @blackestcracker well, at least i can understand why you call yourself cracker, you crackhead - BUCKET, CLAYPOOL AND MAXIMUM BOB are great musicians, that´s why Patton is playing with them. Learn about music and forget what you know!!

    CRACKHEAD

  • @ZappaHermeto .... uh.... Patton and Claypool? Where?

  • Okay... Zorn, Laswell, Patton and Buckethead!!! But...

Who plays bass? It's too hard to pick from Bootsey, Claypool

    and Jonas Hellborg.

  • where was moonraker in this?

  • ZPZ, Buckethead, Claypool, Patton. That would be epic

  • hollly shit I was at this show I never expected to see it on youtube. I got the pick buckethead used at that show (well one of the many he used). patton and buckethead are the gods of music.

  • I heard he uses Dunlop tortex picks, is that true?

  • YES. it's a black dunlop tortex and i believe it's a hard. his mike stand had a strip of tape down it with about 12 picks stuck to it so he could grab one off right away if he lost it.

  • Thanks a LOT!

I'm getting all stuf he uses to see if i can get the same tone...

I hope i can finish getting all the wiring setup for his pedals, that's pretty much all that's left, once i'm done i'll start experimenting with it... and who knows maybe i'll upload some nice covers on youtube. :D

  • @qwqwqwqw99: You, Sir, have witnessed Musical History.

  • les claypool, buckethead, patton, and tim alexander would be a kick ass group

  • Buckethead should jam on Der Golem... he'd be perfect... and Patton rules!!!

  • thts almost like adream come true mmy dream would be too see buckethead return to guns but bloody hell patton n buckethead fuucking awesome

  • Buckethead was never a good fit in Guns. That band is done. Buckethead has much better things to do than waste time aboard that sinking ship. No Buckethead fan would be interested in seeing Buckethead play with GNR. You go see Buckethead to see BUCKETHEAD.

  • id like to see les claypool, patton, and josh homme

  • Dude dream collaboration hands down: Laswell and Patton it would sound like utter chaos!!!!!!!!

  • ... dude...

  • theres an interview out there somewhere with brian caroll out of character, just gotta do some digging

  • @TheAntiCosmic isthat true i would love to see that

  • COOL ass show front row!!!

  • Patton is a fuckinglegend!

He is the most tallentfull artist ever!

  • @GB517 no he ain't, he's talented yes.... but not the greatest..

  • If each one of us would be so awesome like Patton, but doing our work, study, etc., the world would be evolved :D

  • I would'nt say that Claypool eats shit...but Trevor Dunn IS A FUCKING GOD!!!!!!!!

  • haha NIIICE

  • WOOO! the two coolest artists in the world join forces!!!

BUCKETHEAD AND MIKE PATTON RULE!!! :D

  • isnt the dj . . Dj Eddie def and the dj at the first show with agata is dj flare

  • Riiiiiiiight. Sure, bud

  • how did this place not blow up from awesomeness?

  • ya dude i have no idea lol

  • Buckethead AND Mike Patton? How is the crowd still living past this???? I'd die from amazement.

  • this would be a good album collaboration.....fuck a crudo fuck dan the automautor sorry folk

  • Buckethead and Mike patton should form a band!!!!! The two most extreme musicians on the planet!

  • Mmmike Patton, Buckethead and some

other goodness (don't look like Agata

Ichirou from Melt banana though). Sweet.

  • was that korn?

  • OH GOD!!!!.......WHAT' is this from????

Is it just me, OR is this a fucking DREAM COME TRUE!! I have never seen anything like this...with Patton/Buckethead...and I LOVE it!

If anyone knows what DVD this is on, PLEASE "Reply."....THANKS!!!

  • it's just one concert as far as anyone knows. Supposedly there is an audio of it, full video is unknown. If anyone DOES have it, then it's hidden in some closet

  • Its Bucketheads band Praxis. there is a CD but you have to purchase it online they didnt release it in America only japan i believe.

  • Part of it's on Buckethead's Secret Recipe DVD.

  • that stuff at the end is great...patton is an amazing talent...

  • Hey, hey, did you see that moment when Bucket lost his BUCKET?!?!?!

    lol)))

  • Too bad there was never an album. One supergroup that would be sick style wise would be:

    Mike Patton- Vocals/Electronics

    Les Claypool- Bass/vocals

    Buckethead- Guitar

    Brain-Drums

    Bernie-Keyboards

  • Brain? What about Herb. I thought it was pretty obvious Primus downgraded with the addition of Brain.

  • I don't find that Primus downgraded but its true that Herb was a better addition to the band!

  • John Zorn-Saxaphone?

    heheh

  • If only I was made aware of this awesomeness when I was younger...thank the Lord for video recording

  • What song is this?

  • I always thought Buckethead and Patton should collaborate on a cd together. They both can go way out there.

  • Hehe, I like Bucketheads W guitar.

  • part of this was on buckethead's secret recipe dvd but it was just little tidbits of this.

  • mike patton AND buckethead? onstage together? dude.....EPIC!!!

  • DUDE ! that double Jackson Bass/Guitar is SO FUCKING SICK ! :D \m/

    Bunghole30 \m/

  • When/where was this? Slims?

  • The Knitting Factory in Hollywood.

  • Insane-cool, Very Bungle nostalgia. =] =] =]

  • maybe you're a little more boring, a little more close minded, a little more main stream than you think you are

  • good answer

  • I don't think you should avoid music because its classed as mainstreem, you should be honest to yourself about what you enjoy, in someways this music is boring, in otherwords its not especially anthemic or exciting, its experimentation which is fine, I think there is room for more traditionally structured music aswell,

  • Faith no more were a rarity because they managed to be very simple and pop a lot of the time yet retain a great individuality to there sound, which is actually more difficult than being different in this way and saying its more valid because its avant garde, fact is this music probably would never be mainstreem and you would hate it if it was, mike patton is probably one of the most well known experimental artists of recent years, so in this genre he IS relatively mainstreem

  • who the hell is DJ flare?

  • is there a cd album with patton and bucket?

  • Cool axe... flying "W" LOL

The cost of Buckets guitar $11,999.00

    Seeing my 2 FAAVES together...

    P R I C E L E S S...

  • you all want the "Down low" of this footage? Some dickweed "hanger-onnner" of Patton has this and a bunch of shit he won't trade, he puts little segments up and acts cool, when the fans wanna see the thing, I got both shows audio, but this one is the best, and I'd love to have it. I have a HUGE Patton DVD Collection, tons of PAL stuff, too, I've recently been receiving Mondo Cane stuff, I'm not into it, THIS I WANT, but the dude won't put it up

  • Maybe because of its high similarity with Fantomas? O_o

  • A dickweed indeed, so that was the only footage? I can't understand the psychology behind such an asshole move. I guess he's like the Simpsons comic book guy and flourishes on having the only copy in existence for himself.

  • I have this show on Audio, plus the FIRST Moonraker show, there were two, the first MOONRAKER was Patton, the guitarist from Melt Banana, and I believe Kid 606, this is Patton, Buckethead, and DJ Skizo -- If anyone has anything to trade I could probably put both on one disc.

  • LOL Sounds almost exactly like Right said fred tripping over Sepultura on its way out to fuck Mr.Bungle.

  • Does Buckethead's guitar have price tags on it?

  • I give anyone props for thinking and acting outside of the box, whether it works out or not.

In this case, and in my opinion, this works quite nicely.

  • i found 2 whole concerts of moonraker through torrent. their very different, but follow a theme and a lot of the vocal elements, a few riffs and loops are consistant. its very improve. itd be realy cool if they went into studio and refined the sound, but i guess thats not the point?

  • mike patton.

  • this is just fucking crazy!

  • you obviously havent heard faith no more, mr bungle, tomahawk and/or fantomas.

  • fucking plebian...TimeLife just put out a Flower Power 10 CD set with some hot "rock and roll hall of fame" approved jams from The Monkees, Elton John, Steppenwolf, and others. You should check that out asshole. It's right up your alley.

  • Ahahahaha you're a funny man.

  • too far out there? Most musicians are idiots who are just slaves to a trend. They pump out 2 or 3 popular albums, the trend goes away and then...sweet silence and a break from mediocrity. Patton is above and beyond what most musicians are.

  • yeah ain't great.

  • the rhythm patton lays down with the DJ is nice'

  • I envy anyone in that crowd

  • Buckethead

You have let down all the computers of the world.Real computers never make a mistake. The next time you knock of you bucket, You will be reprogrammed!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I could imagine everyone was completely deaf by the time they left the venue.. hehh heh good for them

  • I saw Tomahawk open for Tool years ago. The crowd really wasn't into it and there was a lot of heckling. I always thought he had the potential to do much more, truly great things. He has such an amazing amount of vocal talent.

  • I actually think thats part of the humor behind MikePattons solo projects... people will buy anything!

  • Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

  • "Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man."

    said The Dude

  • Yes, he did.

    (We all saw)

  • really think about what I just said people. Open your mind, think for yourself.

  • I believe you are right collideherscope.

  • he's only doing what Mike Patton told him to do :P I have the audio bootleg and trust me some crazy stuff happens down the road >_>

  • i tried what you said and to be honest i think that if you and some friends got up on stage and played this i would love it even more!!

  • here is the thing YOU CANT where as Patton can and he nails it

  • lol does BH drop his bucket ;D

  • I wish an album had come out of this line up. My favorite guitarist and my favorite singer.

  • How come 90% of Patton's songs (regardless of project) are named after old movies?

Has he said anything about it in interviews?

  • my GOD that was sooo sexxxy !!!!!

  • Mike Patton on stage with a guy who was in GN'R. Although I do know that that's not the measure by which Buckethead defines himself, it's kind of unbelievable.

Anyway, that song is catchy by Patton's standards.

  • bucket head slaps his guitar stle on anything,.Look Up the Deli Creeps and look up praxis or the shit hes down with les claypool and bernie worell <.

  • How I wish I was there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ugh.

  • when was this show?

  • no no man this is incredible, thanks for post one hundred thanks.

  • That a Jackson King V?

  • i think its his kfc one, yeah.

  • it's not his kfc one

his kfc one isn't a double neck

  • right, then, ive no idea what the hell that behemoth is.

  • 3:09 hehehe geeee

  • lmao

  • awesome! more from this performance??!

  • lol buckethead dropped his bucket

  • Fuck you

  • Yeh I agree with you cobragoodingjr.

  • lol buckethead does NOT blow

  • 2 of the fuckin best artists

  • Mike Patton, Buckethead, Claypool and Dave Lombardo, would make the best band

  • You right!

  • dont forget bill mosely on vocals!

  • i change my mind, mike patton of it turned to heavy music, bill mosely if it turned to chillax type of music

  • no, terry bozio would be better for drums

  • Yeah I thought the same

  • Yeah I thought the same

  • wow. that's good shit!

  • damn thats at the knitting factory in Hollywood

  • That is Buckethead. It's from his Secret Recipe DVD i believe.

  • my new favorite band! when the hell did this happen? after the second minute is fucking genious

  • Wow this is some good stuff. They should have made some sort of album.

  • damn that was fuckin tight

  • This is art with a Capital SHIT!!

  • I don't know if that is Buckethead or not. He has a string on his bucket to prevent this from happening, and he'd be playing something a little harder and better sounding than this.

  • That is Buckethead.

  • If Moonraker ever hits the studio I'll cream my jeans.

  • so dope!!!!!

  • YEA!!! now this is what im talking about PATTON AND BH

  • first time i've ever seen Bucket play that custom doubleneck.

    Great footage.

  • my 1st time too lol. Is that the price tag on the headstock? Kinda weird seeing him drop his bucket live.

  • well then again he switched guitars

  • Found Buckethead, then Patton, then found that they did a collab! Holy shit I came.

  • this is great...I wish I could see this live

  • DUDE, IF U GOT MORE PLEASE POST!!!!!!!!!!!! i've been looking for this ever since i started listen to mike patton or buckethead.... PLEASE post if u have more :D

  • Whoa, why have I never heard of this?

  • "some dj" is DJ Flare.

just if you wanna fix that.

  • thanks! changing it now

  • this is the holy grail of bootlegs

  • you don't have the bootleg do you MetalChickenDragon?

  • This is killer.

  • holy shit, didn't think this was available..

if you want more people to check it out, just title it buckethead without his bucket on, cause it drops off at 1:57

    Sweet clip, nice one

  • lol. Then he has to go pick it up.

  • sweet its buckethead, yaaa

  • I would like see this show in Europe. Moonraker is the one of most interresting shows for me.

  • Yea this is very awesome for me because Buckethead is one of my all time favorite guitarists and Mike Patton is without a doubt my favorite musician. Period.

Moonraker=just about as perfect as it gets
