the way I saw it was that when Renetto saw Momo and they got into the limo Renetto seemed to be very self conscious and out to make a big impression, as he said -he's so real he can spot fakes.. yeah right!

People that use drugs dont typically get this strange outside the effect and I wonder if he's taken some kind of psycadelic and has some permanent drug induced psychosis as a reaction. Maybe he hasn't taken drugs at all to get this way.

Ian stated that he's "been this way" (with all of the hand movements & etc.) since he got back from the "Burning Man" festival... He tried to credit the change to his disclosure of secrets before he left for the trip, & that it is a result of being totally honest & etc... 1st of all:I'm going to agree on ONE aspect... and that's the fact that the concept of (holding no resentments &) being HONEST can make a difference in someone's life (if they've never lived that way before)...

IMO Ian is crying because he is not understood. Also I think he realizes that parts of his life are holding him back, and doesn't know how to change that. Thus he feels trapped to some extent, but possibly sees a way out by what Renetto is saying.
