Is this a single muffler or two and does it still have the stock resonator. It took me a couple of trips to the muffler shop (replaced mufflers, then resonator, then cat, and finally custom headers) to get my '07 Sonata to sound the way I want. The Flowmaster is a good start but I think you can get a deeper sound out of it. I give this a "like"!

My T/A with 285hp LT1 would whoop basically any 94-04 mustang (save for the SVTs) and is only .4 sec slower in the 1/4 than the 300hp GT even with an automatic.After I get a k&n intake,exhaust and other bolt ons/wire ins,It''ll eat 05-07 GTs no problem.

I currently own a GA GT, and I push it hard on the straightaway, as well as on the mountain roads where I live, and I have enjoyed every minute of it. And I'm sorry to say, but mustangs are far too heavy to push hard on those roads. Search Hwy 28 SC and you'll see what I mean.

Face it. The grand am is a piece of trash. The underpowered V6 drinks gas like a V8, yet gets the power of an I4. It is also covered in plastic cladding. Showing up to anything motorsport related in a grand am is asking to get laughed at.

1996-2004 Mustang GT pushed 250-260hp

Dude, how did you get one of those on there? I tried to get one and they sent the wrong type, and then they told me Flowmaster doesn't make them for GA GT's. Originally they said only a Flowy 40 series would fit but it had inlet on one side and two outlets on the other, so it wouldn't work, then they said after looking at it again that they don't make them for 3.4L.

Go 80 series. Just got mine installed without the resonator on my 04 Grand AM. It sounds like a V8. Sounds sick. Nice, deep tone. I've gotten tons of compliments already and it has only been a week. Some dude thought a loud ass Camaro was passing and found out it was a Grand Am. Definitely go with 80s.
