  • and also Judas Macabbeus , Sacred Cantatas , Athalia, Orlando...........Arias from Mozart, Cantatas from Bach, Dido and Eneias ....... and so on!

    thanks a lot anyway

  • beautiful voice from heaven!! The most pure and celestial voice I´ve ever heard!

  • @BarrocoeBrahms iiagree! Emma Kirkby is a true nightingale. Maybe the soprano ever. If you are intrested in Handel, I can also recommend Alceste, Esther, Joshua, italian cantatas and The triumph of Time and Truth.

  • Where can I find a score of this with flute obligato and piano?

  • @Angeltots

You can get it in the Handel 45 arias from Operas and Oratorios. In the piano score, it notates where the solo flute should play.

  • Scintillating and simply delightful to hear!!!

  • Ouch. B-bye miss Battle. This is my new favorite version. ;) Emma is perfect. Luv her. Thanks for posting this.

  • I don´t know this Handel's work, this aria is very beautiful. And Emma Kirkby "lo borda".

    Thanks.
