  • There where also the Grand Prix GXPs that where 5.3 FWD and the late model Monte Carlo SS's that where 5.3 fwd as well.

  • is this the only v8 front wheel drive out there?

  • @AvenueD417 i meant is the 06 and up impala SS the only V8 front wheel drives ever built.

  • @AvenueD417 no, GM has a thing about them, they have at least one fwd v8 car in their line up dating back to the Olds toronado in the 60's. cadillac often have at least one in the lineup. The Seville sts comes to mind.

  • Finally, I was looking for fairly stock dyno numbers for the good old 5.3 and here they are. Would have been neat to see the difference a 5 speed manual would have made, but there appears to be plenty of wheel spin already with the slush box. I'm looking for a used car soon, and I know they haul ass for a big sedan.

  • @marrark this one has the 5.3L ;D

  • What ever happened to the good old 90's RWD Impalas with a 350?

  • damnnnnnnnnnn!

  • sounds good. numbers seem pretty high for a mostly stock LS4 tho

  • Sounds really good! I love magnaflow, that's what I run on my truck and they sound awesome without the highway drone that flowmasters that have.

  • Nice, I had similar numbers. Love these cars!!!

  • good numbers

  • i thought these were 305whp stock? that what they say about the 06 like mine.....

  • @trent1234108 well its 303HP but you lose like 15%-20% of your horsepower through your drivetrain. you lose less with a Manuel transmission like 10%-15%, but it really depends on the type of transmission you have

  • greatest way to ruin a chevy?make it front wheel drive.hahaha

  • Thanks for sharing. I have the same silver 2007 Impala SS. I just bought it last week and I really like it.

  • how fast did it go

  • Im glad i own an SS

  • that car has always sound damn sexy to me i want that engine in my 03 malibu will it fit?

  • must be on a dyno jet

  • @chris97gs no it was a mustang dyno but i would agree the numbers seme a bit high for a mustan dyno but o-well

  • yeah it sounds sweet what muffler part numbers you used? You deleted the resonator? Did you use just 2 1/2" pipe in place of it?

  • Can you tell me what muffler part numbers you used? You deleted the resonator? Did you use something in place of it? Thanks.

  • @rarert im not sure it is jest a basic stainlees magnaflow muffler sorry

  • Nice numbers. Only mods are mufflers and a K&N drop in? Hmmm. I've got MF cat-back and a Cold Air Inductions airbox on mine. My numbers should be similar.

  • nice numbers! im planning on dynoing mine soon.

  • nice ss man
