  • he was was just mad, because, he didn't get a toy with his happy meal.

  • Every law Abiding Citizen is to carry and be ready to exterminate white trash

  • I remember that day, the next day the papers had the pic of two boys who'd gone to that resturant and were killed out in the parking lot. One of the rare times I saw my Mother cry.

  • I remember this I lived in San Diego at the time and can remember thinking WTF is going on here

  • San Ysidro sucks.

  • can u blame terminator?

  • I got this by chance, why did the survivors not sue the widow who herself even tried to sue McDonalds for her husband not killing enough humans?

  • It said that him and his family had when there and had chicken mcnuggets earlier in the day.i think he recieved shitty customer service like at all mcdonalds and just decided that this time he was going to let them know how he felt about it lol.

"Give me cold, stale chicken mcnuggets and an attitude at the counter will you???"

    lmao.

  • Most people could be angry at something. Approximately one half of adults got splitting of marriages. Millions got mental challenges and disorders. This stuff does not transform people into murderers.

Back in Russia, I met people who would carry out anything, even killing relatives, after they were brainwashed by GULAG KGB agents (a portion of KGB).

Seek on the net for “kgb suicide murder” and you can discover various instances how and why GULAG KGB agents organize massacres and killings.

  • @artour2006 Psychology is a pseudoscience that has no basis in reality. There is no evidence or proof for any of their theories. Many of their assertions are simply designed to tear down the moral consciousness of society. I'm not sure from your text whether you espouse their mindset or not, but I simply wanted to explain the truth to you. There is no evidence for DNA or the "unconscious" changing the free will of a person.

  • @Fupper16 How does psychology have the ability to tear down the moral consciousness of society if DNA or the unconscious doesn't change the free will of the person?

  • @rusty1491 Because they purport to understand the hidden meanings that explain our actions. These are then interpreted from an evolutionary standpoint: that man's emotions are a biochemical vestigial process that cannot contain any morality. Therefore, there is no morality, and consequently, we are not responsible for our actions. Just look at the many insanity pleas that are rendered in today's judicial system and you'll understand what I mean.

  • Very tragic day in the United States. That McDonalds was closed down after the shooting, a community college now stands there. While another McDonalds was made a block away from it. My brother went through the drive thru a hour before the shooting. Both my parents knew victims of the shootings, the majority of the victims were from Tijuana. One of them was a social worker which gave her life for 2 others, tragic day.

  • I live in San Diego and was 13yrs old when this happened...In watched it unfold on the news with my parents and to this day it makes me very sad.

  • Is there a second part to this?

  • Worst mass shooting in the U.S. is now Virginia Tech...

  • My 9mm CCW will be with me all the time now....

  • I use to go eat at the Ma Donals not knowing what had happen there before wow

  • He could of just asked for fresh fries.

  • This event inspired Burger King's "Where's Herb?" campaign in 1985.

  • i watched the video and it's socking, no one of the victims that survived isn't crying when they say the were shot and that friends died.

  • Dumb ass the US as shitty gun laws. How about they make it so you can't take a gun answer you want and not own assault rifles and this wouldn't have happened you redneck.

  • and this is why there should be NO "gun free zones". One responsable person who carrys a weapon or gun could of take'n the psyco path out that day.

  • I Guess some people will do anything for a free happy meal =/

  • Haha Jk

  • the guy who did such atrocious thing had obviously no heart.

  • I STILL MISS OMAR ALSO

  • A Corporate McEcocide-Burger is a perfect symbolic target, just as much as the Pentagon, the Twin Pillars of Hochfinanz, the Mall of America, Walmart, or the various humanimal detritus (such as celebrities) that litter the 'Kwa.

Frank Spishak, Fred Cowan, JP Franklin, the Order, Kaszynski and McVeigh. Want to mongrelize and degenerate our people to extinction, in an airtight system of corporate slavery? Expect "whitey" to go berserk, just like anyone else. He's no coward.

  • I don't understand. If the dude was pissed at the government and Federal Reserve, why whould he kill people at a McDonalds?...

  • @WillyLee23 That's the type of shit that bothers me. "I'm mad at the system, but I'm going to kill anyone but an authority figure / official." Not even a logical symbol.

  • That iHop shooting took place in Carson City, right next to Reno where I live. God bless those American troops who were killed.

  • A shooting at Ihop today took 3 lives and wounded 6.From Norway to Virginia Tech to Mcdonalds San Ysidro it appears that for the past 30 years random spree killing has become a generational fad much like cell phone texting.People and the society continue to ignore and reject the mentally ill and lonered and then ask why these things continue to happen. When will we wake up?How many innocent victims have to be randomly cut down by bullets by how many mass killers at how many different places?RIP

  • I live in new zealand, born in 1989. Have had dreams about a shooting at a mac D's in Cali somewhere in the 1980's a couple times in the last few months, and that i was one of the people laying down pretenting to be already shot. so today i thought i'd google "shooting at mcdonalds 80's" & up pops this... And if i pause it at 3:35 i see the outside courtyard with metal fencing. exactly like the dream. so strange!

  • @cjaynz now that's weird .and also kind of creepy lol, you know my brother also had a dream about an earthquake exactly the same day 1985 Mexico City earthquake happened. (19 september) but he didn't even remember the earthquake of Mexico until he saw it on the news. He said he was been thinking about his dream the whole day, i mean he didn't even know why he had such strange dream and then when he watched the news he got a surprise lol.

  • @davlor86 I do alot of so called "astral traveling" as people call it, when i sleep, maybe your brother does aswell. it seems as if some people can recall others peoples memories or somthing without really knowing it. I've had a dream about this multiple times, each time its so clear im one of the people on the ground pretenting to be dead already. some one smart watching this can tell me whats happening here?

  • NOT the worst one day massacre in the history of the US, not by a long shot. There have been many many others which claimed more victims. In fact, too numerous to count.

One example: In Bath Township, Michigan in 1927, Andrew Kehoe murdered 38 school children, 4 adults and blew himself to smithereens. Violent acts like these are very common worldwide and have been going on since the beginning of time.

War, starvation, ethnic cleansing, genocide, crusades & inquisitions have killed BILLIONS.

  • @t4705mb6, good point. The reason this tragedy has a higher profile than others in history is the presence of video cameras. Just like Hurricane Katrina. There are a lot of people who believe Katrina was the worst Hurricane in American history, when the reality is more Americans were killed in the Galveston hurricane of 1900. Around 1800 were killed by Katrina. Upwards of 6000 were killed in Galveston. What's the difference? Video.

  • @slappy1234567 What concerns me is the lack of accuracy in reporting ("repeating"). It's difficult to ignore these mass media blurbs making ridiculous claims when you know the facts. You are correct about the hurricane in Galveston. Recently I was equally stunned when Irene swept through NE. Vermont devastation was the worst of the storm yet barely mentioned in the mass media. VT is arguably the most "constitutional" state in the nation and, seeing that 5 men now own the US media, I can see why.

  • i was in kindergarden

  • what gets me are the :dead: kids near their bikes! OMG how awful

  • The movie "Bloody Wednesday" was based on this case. Look up the "Trial By Teddy" scene.

  • my mom was there but she survived... she was there before the cops arived

  • @DGKboy27 how old was she back then ??

  • There were a couple of cops who watched the whole thing go down. When asked why they did nothing they said that their supervisor told them to stand down until SWAT got there. So they just kept on eating donuts until their bosses got there.

  • This is what happens when a bunch of dumb, unarmed liberals are confronted by violence. They don't know what to do and as they hate guns, none of them had equipped themselves to defend themselves or others. Pacifist, pussy far lefties are as much a part of the problem as the shooters. one good man with a gun in there could have stopped this but the far left will always be too evil and retarded to comprehend this. Crazies will always have free hunting amongst leftist communities.

  • @heartfire451 Actually since it was in the state of Kalifornia law abiding citizens are not allowed to carry.

  • @starfire0007 Um actually yes, its called open unloaded carry.

  • @ZerrickiShadow True but there are places that don't alllow even that. Not sure about San Diego.

  • Michelle Obama sent him there to stop people from eating too many french fries.

  • You know there was a lot of Mexicans killed in this massacre. What does the average American see that as? A good thing or a bad thing? I wish men like this nutcase would wreck havoc on criminal empires rather than on McDonald's.

  • Not the biggest mass murder...not even close....

  • Oh, and by the way, I have a special interest in this subject because two of my best friends died that day. I still think about them when July 18 rolls around and I will never forget them. Omar Hernandez (0:16) (0:31) and David Flores (0:21) I will always remember, I will never forget.

  • @wonkatania100 Those are you're friends? You shouldn't watch this. im sorry this happend :(

  • Comment removed

  • @wonkatania100

Man that sucks and I have much sympathy for you. For me, I'll always remember this day as this happened on my 14th birthday.

  • @wonkatania100 you know those people in that photo!

  • Comment removed

  • @wonkatania100 are you the little white boy being interviewed in this video? I live a few miles from there in Chula Vista. I think about this a lot.

  • I uploaded this video originally 3 years ago onto Google Video (Look it up in Google Video) and Mr. slappy here stole it. I know it because the first fade in from black with the words, "McDonald's Massacre July 18, 1984" was added by me and the Reporter speaking in the background was also added by me from a taped report by a Traffic Helicopter Reporter that happenned to be in the area that day, the original Video (which was recorded from an old VHS tape) it came from did not start this way.

  • 27 years ago today

  • crazy SOB

  • Exactly you can't blame the guns but they make it easier to kill

  • Fucking GRINGOS are CRAZY !!!

  • I believe we are going to see alot more of mass killings because of the total destruction of the american way of life. No jobs, no money, loss of all possessions. This will become a natural reaction for americans. I am still for the 2nd amendment, though, and the freedom of speech. Thank you and god bless ronald mcdonald and the right to carry assault rifles!

  • @MrCoal11

What exactly is the "American way of life" in your eyes? Your talk of losing jobs, money, and possessions seems to echo how the killer felt about losing both of his jobs- first in his factory, then in California. The very fact that you are grateful to your God for the fact that Americans can carry assault rifles around is deeply disturbing. All the facts in this video point to this being a racially-motivated killing; the man was upset because he perceived that Mexican-Americans and i

  • @MrCoal11

mmigrants were taking his job, money, possessions, et cetera, the very same things that you are upset about. The sentiments in your post coupled with the tone of the video (as I assume you watched the video in its entirety) would lead a majority of people to believe that you are upset that immigrants are taking our jobs. Every Mexican-American that gets a job does not equal one less job for a white American. Back to the topic of assault rifles and assault weapons in general; there's

  • @MrCoal11

a reason that they carry the word "assault" in their denomination. Assault weapons are good for one thing and one thing only, and that is killing another human being. I would not hunt deer with an Uzi, a Glock Nine, or a sniper rifle, as that is not the intended usage of that weapon. Guns breed violence because they are created with violence inherent in the design: guns are weapons of death. There is no way to argue that point. Your post reflects a very simplistic, overly

  • @MrCoal11

nationalistic and overtly racist ideal; the earlier-mentioned idea that every immigrant that gains a job means one American does not get one, which, taken to its reasonable conclusion, reads "Every non-white that gets a job means one less white job in America." The only Americans that will take to the streets and kill based on a nationalistic supremacist viewpoint are those who share your sentiments, and sadly there are more than enough of those in this country.

  • @MrCoal11

To sum up a TL;DR version of this; you're part of the problem, not the solution, and you're the sort of individual who makes me regret living in a country that takes its liberties and luxuries for granted to the point of being a greedy, violent mass of selfish people.

  • @AClockworkNade Actually you can hunt deer with a sniper rifle, and a glock nine is a small pistol issued for self defense. Now I completely understand what you are saying, but it isn't the weapons themselves that did the killing, it's the operator behind the weapon. I feel that semi auto weapons should be legal for recreational use only, but there needs to be a much larger background check.

  • Guys uhhh this is all PARTIALLY my grandpa's fault.him and my grandpa were good friends, and huberty were having troubles, and struggling, and my grandpa (being the most fucked up guy that i love) told him to go release his anger in some way

  • rot in hell huberty. i hope your getting shot in a very painfully way. i hope your boiling in very hot water and lava.

  • This is why everyone should carry a concealed weapon becausse that's what a 2ndf amendment was for! But thanks to the stupid media who brainwashed to think guns are not needed, nobody gets those.

  • there's a song hailing James Huberty as a hero called McMurder by a band Ethnic Cleansing. Screwed up as all hell! You have to be pretty fucked up in the head to think this man was a hero.

  • My mother quit that Mcdonald's right before the shooting! Thank God!

  • I remember watching this on tv when I was 14yrs old! This guy was a security guard thats fucked!!!

  • @laaspen ya remember the name of this i might want to test my constitution watching it cause i really hate people murduring others just for the fuck of it it sickens me but i am curious as to where i might find this all i need is a name

  • @makutateridax200 you want the name of the guy who did the mcdonald's massacre?

  • When i was bout 8 years old I actually moved there shortly after massacre n not realizing till later that i had moved into the apt that huberty had lived in, i knew people who lost loved ones in this tragedy n moved when i was 14 years old but still am saddened by it all, n it was tirn dwn n a southwest college was build there many years ago

  • RIP bro ill miss you

  • Actually Southwestern Community College now lays in its place. If you lived in the area at the time, you likely know someone affected by this tragedy.

  • Instead of a McDonalds now theres a YumYum Doughnut :)

  • it's always the nerdy ones that do this shit. it's the one time in their life when they've ever felt power. so the message is b nice 2 people even if they seem a little strange.

  • San Diego Police should have been sued instead of McDonald's for their slow response. It was because the victims were Mexican-Americans. That is why you don't see this on Bill Kurtis or the history channel.

  • Carrying a gun yourself means having more options than playing possum. Laws don't disarm crazies, they disarm their victims only. If laws stopped crime, prisons would be empty.

  • This is why every legal U.S. Citizen, with full background check and mental evaluation, should have the choice to carry a concealed weapon. This kind of stuff can be stopped almost immediately and minimize the death toll due to these sick human beings..

  • Anthony Portantino is currently trying to ban guns for self defense in California because according to him 'you don't need a gun to buy a burger'.

  • Huberty's case is about the saddest case that I know of.

  • Virginia Tech has more deaths than this right?

  • @counterstrikenerd321 That's right. And there was plenty of warning that that shooter could be dangerous.

  • @counterstrikenerd321 yes biut at the time this was the worst

  • This McDonald's never reopen and was demolished later that year.

  • he's just mad because he didn't find a toy in his happy meal.

  • @LADjsim That's really not funny.

  • @jimmyhd1969 and the massacare at VT was because the kid didnt get an egg roll for breakfast like he wanted.

  • @LADjsim LMFAOOO!!!!!

  • wow! this really brightend my day! but i think they shouldnt have said that this could happen to anybody. because i bet now no one will watch there channel anymore!

  • omg!!!!so sad!!

  • It seems that this event inspired the movie Falling Down.

  • @GrandChaseHeroes -

Muslims burning churches in Egypt right now. See for yourself. Muslims blowing up Muslims in Afghanistan and Pakistan right now. See for yourself. Who told you Islam is a religion of peace?

  • @GrandChaseHeroes -

Islam has more bad people in it than all the other religions, pagans, devil worship, and atheist combined. Islam breeds terror and just about every Muslim wishes for a Jihad. This is the 21st century where we should be exploring space for new adventures. Instead we have to waste our time with Islam and the wars allah akbar created for today and tomorrow. Islam is a big obstacle with blood on their hands.

  • This is why I carry every day. Everyone thinks things like this are rare. And they are. Everyone thinks it won't happen to them. But it could. I'd rather have my gun and not need it, than need it and not have it while cops "create a perimeter."

  • i live freaking close to where this happened its now a community college!

  • @purpleninjapickle100 Yeah me too!

  • @elementdragon2 so u live in san ysidro? where? :o

  • DON'T BLAME THE GUNS!!

  • @scvbtr2 Nooooooooo course not! Overybody should own automatic shotguns and UZIs! I'm sure this was self defence..

  • @scvbtr2 do you think he could've killed nearly as many people with any other weapon?

  • @ex0rdium i rarely invive these youtube questions, but i'll answer yours. YES Ican think of several. GOD bless.

  • look this up on wikipedia for more information and pictures

  • there is a webpage that has a photo of the plaque of the incident because they tore down...accually I have a trading card of this

They've torn down the restaurant, and McDonalds have donated the land, for a park.

    there is a plaque there

  • not needing a stinking ccw permit and respecting the constitution may have prevented this, then again im not sure many mexicans carry guns dont know whhy

  • 90% of the victims were Mexican or Mexican Americas, and he was known to be bigoted, the police response was horrible, you can search for the timeline of events, it lasted for more then an hour, and yet they used this to promote more gun control! thats wrong somebody should have SHot THat Man! he fired more then 250 round! if only gun laws were more lenient and followed the second amendment this could have been a diifferent story!

    check out

  • the mcdonalds massacre is still out there

  • @robloxnerd123 They've torn down the restaurant, and McDonalds have donated the land, for a park.

there is a plaque and a online photo

  • James Oliver Huberty went to the high school I go to we found him an old year book.

That school is Wanyedale in Applecreek Ohio he wasent born in Florida he was born in Canton Ohio and moved to Mont Eton were the house they live in is now owned by my best friend mom and dad.

  • THIS IS WHAT ALL PEOPLE LIKE

people complain about this sorta crap but then admire people who fist fight on YT videos. people love violence in movies or when it's glorified in music.

  • Huberty was a Patriot.Huberty was a hero,to many. But most of all--on that day...Huberty made a STATEMENT.Yes--Huberty was sick of his Homeland, his Country and his life--being invaded, overrun and destroyed by a violent, moraless, criminal third-world,failed race of Marxist-Communists.Yes,Huberty declared war on Communism. Many Amerikans would kill Commies in Vietnam;Huberty would kill them--in his own Homeland. No difference. We used to joke about it:"I'm so mad--I think I'll shoot up a Mcdonalds."

  • They actually CUT a scene in Red Dawn that showed Russian soldiers eating at McDonald's because of this asshole.

  • I don't know why people seem surprised that the killings took place in McDonald's. Anyone who has tasted one of their hamburgers will have realised how vile they are. It's enough to push anyone over the edge. If he had killed all the staff, & left the customers alone, he would have been regarded as a hero. The film " Falling Down" was partly based on this. still, must have given many folks indigestion.

  • Listen to the song "M15" by Terrorfakt it has sound bytes from the new reports its pretty cool

  • McMurder

  • If he was going to do something like that, perhaps he should've at least worn a Grimace costume.

  • Actually, Huberty was born in Florida, and he got weapons training under a Federal Program prior to the massacre. In addition, Huberty was a self-professed hater of "the United States, children and Mexicans", so when he chose the McDonalds it wasn't necessarily a random act, since he had been in traffic court earlier that day, and the massacre was his "revenge" against the system and society he perceived to be against him, and his family was not to blame they were victims of his abuse too.

  • Today, they would blame videogames. Everybody know that there has been no violance on this world before videogames came out.

  • I actually remember watching this on the news at my grandparents. I remember thinking it was so weird it happened at Mc Donald's of all places.

Now, I find it even weirder that they opened one two blocks away!

  • my dad was at that mcdonalds 2 hours before this happened

  • If you have psychopath with a gun. Why does the rest of responsible America whom arm themselves to protect their family and possessions should be looked as the bad people.

Remember that the wrong people behind the wheel of a car can be dangerous as well.

  • i was just at this mcdonalds last night

  • @SDCHARGERS619 Actually, I believe they tore this down and erected a McDonald's a few blocks away just after this happened.

  • @SDCHARGERS619 liar! that mcdonalds was knocked down and made into a memorial.you must of been at the one at the international border located 2 miles away.

  • @manlaw150 yeah mustv been that one

  • @manlaw150 Dude, he did say it was knocked down. And a new Mickey D's was erected not far from the massacre site.

  • @SDCHARGERS619 No you weren't!

  • @cheyenne92646 no you weren't!

  • i was watching on tv this morning and my heart goes ot to those familys especially the babies and the kids! he sould have justkilled himself and his wife is just as much as fault

  • When I was in Sunday School they handed out something that looks like a weekly reader for Church Youth which gave a lesson on, what I can't remember. I just remember they had a story on this massacre and showed all the dead bodies in the restaurant. I wish I had kept that to show how stupid some churches are at showing young kids violence and gruesome pictures to go along with it.

  • Note to the poster of this video: Huberty expended around 250 rounds, NOT 2500 rds.

  • @Shweetbox Thank you! Corrected.

  • Nearly blew my speakers out.

  • 5:30 Wasn't he already murdering people?! Coward cop.

  • Look. nothing good ever came out of Islam. All they do is block the streets. Islam is a clog in a civilized world. The Koran is a book of Allah praising himself, looking in the mirror, wearing lispstick, and demanding worship.

  • "Biggest mass murder in America";how old is this show?

  • Definitely 80's. the San Ysidro massacre was surpassed in the early 90's by the shooting at Luby's in Texas, which was in turned surpassed by the Virginia Tech massacre 3 years ago.

  • . "what kind of man could carryout this" you stated,

was he on the prozac type drugs they had back then? Looks 100% like the exact same scenarios we have seen thruought the decades since it was introduced.

  • I heard he sat there and whacked his caulk the whole time too but they didn't want to talk about that in the press since it's so disgusting. Jeezus.

  • I went to the massacre site a few days ago after mailing a package at the post office next door (the one where the police sniper killed Huberty from the roof) and took some pictures of the memorial. Ofcourse the McDonalds has been torn down, and in it's place is a satelite campus of SouthWestern College. I went in there to use the bathroom, and I have to say it was a little creepy being in there thinking about everything that happened on that same ground 26 years prior.

  • gotta love san ysidro

  • "That's gotta hurt!" - George Costanza

  • Man i cant believe it my girl lives up the street next to the apartments were the killer lived i go to her house and see that place and it always gives me chills knowing that that happened there the mcdonalds got moved but the postal office is still there its crazy...

  • thats why i eat at burger king

  • @40390576 This was a HORRIBLE event which I distinctly remember when I was living in Ohio back in 1984, a month before the Los Angeles Olympic Games.

  • Yep, This was the "good old days".....>:(

  • we are doing a reenactment of this which will be showing on Spike TV program "What If"

  • My moms friend was killed in this shooting .

  • Shadesters..........how come those cops arent prosecuted for killing innocent people. Let me guess, the ASSUMED, right or they fit the description? To most cops, we are all guilty no matter what. I guess we can say that cops are trigger happy cause they all shoot to kill and ask later.

  • @jakclutch Sometimes they are prosecuted. The cop that shot the unarmed man in the subway recently should definitely be prosecuted for it...

  • I watched an in-depth video about this today. Wanna hear something messed up? The police chief admitted that they shot inside at people they "THOUGHT" was the suspect, because it was hard to see into the McDonalds building. They only learned there was 1 suspect more than an hour after the shooting started.

So this Huberty guy did not kill all 21 people, some were killed by police sniper fire, probably people just trying to flee.

  • @shadesters I've never heard of this, but would be interested to read/hear more. Do you have a link to this video?

  • @slappy1234567 I saw it in my armed security class (since this guy was a security guard)

It's old, made in the 80s, and its on VHS, but I will get the name of it from my instructor when I see him this weekend. It's basically interviews with people involved and news clips.

  • @slappy1234567 I found the video. It's here on youtube in 5 parts. Start with

    /watch?v=zkZZ1-YGjeQ&fmt=18

  • @shadesters oh nevermind this version is not the same one I saw. It doesnt have the interview with the guy that talks about the low visibility and such. I will see if I can make a digital copy of the one my instructor has, and post it.

  • @shadesters I would love to see a link as well; I've never heard that before.

  • i live in massillon where this man lived with his wife and kids befor they moved california. i went to grade school with his oldest daughter. i was freinds with her...

i never saw the dad... the friends has to be out of the house befor her got home from work.. but i knew zelia and casandra... i know the dad was a lilttle odd..

  • Albert Leyos sounds like he was shot in the balls.
