Etched in diamonds ! ! peerless. In his sphere (as Sinatra in his) "The Voice" (male) of the twentieth century. Burton was an especially cerebral, deeply contemplative actor, and this via his virile yet champagne Voice did best justice to his and many great poetic passages ... one can never tire of hearing his epiphanic recitatives as King Arthur in Camelot: especially the Merlinlike trance, spell he puts on us "Each evening ... from December to December; / Before you fall asleep upon your cot"
