  • also this song is epic and i like all the melodies a lot. harmonically there is a chord my ear is dying to hear, most noticably after the suspense from 2:25 to 2:40, i think it's a G chord i'm imagining but not sure. other than that great song, i hope you pursue a career in music. chase your dreams you know you want to!!!!!

  • @rustycaha thanks for the tip, I have no musical education, so I might be skipping some obvious things ;) I'm really glad you liked it :)

  • are there any exercises you'd recommend to develop that thumb independence... i'd ask tommy emmanuel but he seems busy

  • @rustycaha I wish I could help but I have never really practiced this... and my thumb is unfortunately not that independent how it could be ;) Anyways I think it's a good way to play some melody with your fingers till the moment you can freely talk with someone during playing without loosing a rythm. And than just try to add your thumb somewhere, doesn't matter slapping or strumming :) Good luck and thanks for a comment!

  • świetne ! ; )

  • @AnnaBlix Dziękuję!

  • thats awesome, just started 12 string after playing 6 string for a while, any song suggestions?

  • @farcrything

Any kind of blues :) songs like "Sweet Home Alabama" sounds great on 12 string. Lately I like playing "Blue on Black" ( Kanye Wayne Shepherd ). If you want something more demanding I'd advice "Stevie's Blues" by Tommy Emmanuel.Good luck with your 12 string!

  • @apffiner thanks so much, thats a massive help, ill try that out. once again thanks.

  • @farcrything you're welcome mate

  • very nice!!!
