  • can't even spell "truly" correctly. Canadian?

  • WE BOUGHT TIM HORTONS BACK! long time ago, though

  • A&E biography - Tim Horton...You should get a copy and see the real story behind the Tim Horton franchise and what HAPPENED to the Horton family. Personally, I do not step foot in a Tim Hortons for what they did. Also, it was American owned with Wendy's but they had a falling out of sorts. Tim Hortons has taken the lead in land fill leftover garbage. But really, they are like Walmart when they come into town...They destroy the little family operations and become the only place to get a coffee...

  • @19gregorx51 don't punish the franchise, if you like the coffee, buy the coffee, don't chose what you like and don't like becsause of their decisions .

  • @beckichamb Sorry Becky but I do punish the franchise. It is called a boycott. Many companies find themselves with groups and individuals who decide to demonstrate against actions of a corporation. Look how McDonald's have "supersized" humanity. I speak of them as I would Tim Horton's. I believe an injustice was done, therefore I choose to boycott that place. I don't like the fact they have superseded the other Junk Food outlets in land fill articles. This is all in part to being a free society.

  • @19gregorx51 can i be honest? haha, i hardly understood what you said :P im not that good with to many big words all at once, i know that sounds stupid since my first language is english, but if you want to explain it in an easier way for me to understand, then go ahead :P but if you don't want to take the time, then dont.

  • On the suject of Tim Horton's vs Starbucks...

Can it get any weirder? Case in point: An adult store manager at a Starbux in Orange County, CA was convicted of sexual acts with a 16-year old employee, and did 4 months in prison for it. Since he has the same name as the Canadian coffee & donut chain, I thought I was hallucinating with my ears...

I hear right. How freakin' bizarre it that?!

The Starbucks sex scandal is a feature on ABC 20/20 show for Jan. 22, 2010. check it out!

    Comments?

  • sorry to tell you this...but the grammer needs to be fixed.

    truely (truly)

    Good Luck next time =S

  • Yes, what a screw up, but maybe the video was made by college kids who only retain what they learn long enoiugh to pass a test. I meet people who studied Spanish or French all through high school, and a few years later they can't remember enough of the language to buy a pastry & coffee in a foreign country, even if their lives depended on it. Truly is spelled T-R-U-L-Y kids, not "truely"...get a clue, in fact take two their free. Pathetic!

  • @BLASTEDRAGON lol, it's "grammar" buddy.

  • @BLASTEDRAGON good grief my dear Watson!

  • Tim Hortons is NOT a Canadian OWNED company and if someone ever had to drink one of their coffees black they would NEVER go back. And if you get a chance, just watch the A&E documentary on Tim Horton to see how the family got devastated and ended up on welfare after the sale of the Tim Hortons franchise.

  • I left Canada for a week and the second day of my trip I would have killed for a Timmies coffee. Next time I leave home, I'm taking a can with me!

  • You'd kill for some of their coffee? Do you know why? Because it is laced with nicotine. You "think" you are craving the flavor, or the caffeine, but you are jonesing for nicotine. Tim Hortons strings their addicts along just like McDonalds does when they add MSG to every burger(note the last minute share of mysterious white powder they dash each burger patty with. It isn't just salt, kiddies!

  • @HunterMann i worked there for 3 years. so I KNOW there is no alcohol in our ice caps, and no niccotine in our coffee. it's the sugary flavouring, the marketing, the preservatives and the caffiene that gets you. don't think there's any MSG, either. very little, if there is any. i'm extremely sensitive to it. and ANYONE who completes 'donut school' can be a manager. Getting 'inside information' and 'conspiracy theories' is extremely difficult. Even the regional manager doesn't know jack.

  • @Reya70 Take the whole franchise with you when you go. Do Canadians a favour.

  • @Reya70 who is Timmies?

  • Tim Hortons coffee SUCKS. Have you ever had one without cream?

Get one plain and it's disgusting. Try any real coffee and you should like it with or without cream.

People that KNOW and drink REAL coffee are above Tim Horton lovers and laugh at them.

    Timmy's sucks, get civilized.

  • i work for one. the always fresh doesnt work all the time. my advice? go early for fresh donuts. go at the busiest time for the freshest coffee.

  • Thats true, I also think that Wendy's no longer owns Tim Hortons.

  • @charmzkie You mean "fresh" and previously "frozen" donuts that we made in a factory in Brantford, Ontario and then trucked to the various locations...Then reheated. Talk about "week-olds" and "day-olds" haha

  • Timmies is pretty much a cult and none of us are getting out so just get on the comet and eat some timbits dammit.

  • i know theres a tims in maine somewhere when i went for a trip there.

  • great video!

  • There is a Timmies in Sydney Australia as well

  • there is! WOOT THATS TOTALLY AWESOME!!!

    YAY US CANADIANS!

  • where?

  • i dunno, thats what i heard from numerous people, i live in new zealand now and am hopeful its true so that I may visit there for a double double.

  • no if you come all the way to canada to go to tim hortons you have to get an iced cap!

  • i work there...oh my god....since i found out how they make the food and what they do with it behind the scenes...i can't eat there

  • Have you seen how the other fast food places make theirs... if you do then you will never eat fast food again, Tim Horton's is one of the best you can find

  • yeah i have, and timmy's is better, but still not good. that always fresh rep is shite...

  • but it is fresh it just depends on how you look at it

  • The Tim Horton's I work at, the food and coffee is always fresh.

Unless you want decaf. Either you get whatever's been sitting there for a long time, since no one wants it, or we make it fresh, 'cause there's none made.

  • and what did you see?

  • Props on the Five Iron Frenzy!

  • hey! tim hortons is getting hashbrowns starting december 31! wat a way to start the new year =) i noe cuz i work there =]

  • I live in Ketchikan Alaska and the closest Tims is in Prince Rupert BC and I have a 6 hour ride for a double double and a walnut crunch. This American loves Tim Horton's

  • do they have a time hortons in america?

  • Yes but, not in my part of the country.

Most are in Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia and New York. I spent about a year in Canada and got hooked! Walnut Crunches and an extra lage Double Double.

  • i love the ice capps!

  • zzzzz. why the color bars?

  • colour

  • Tim Horton's has been owned by Wendy's for some time.

  • Tim Horton's coffee and doughnut causes cancer,

RIP for those of you who regularly visit Timmy.

  • Umm, almost every damn thing can cause cancer you idoit. Who gives a shit, we live 80 years so enjoy it.

  • :) That was an awesome video! Great work! I'm gonna go walk to Tim Hortons now and get myself a X-large tripple tripple with a Cocolate Danish! ^.^ Heeh!

  • I would have liked to see something on the making of the donuts as well. I heard that they are frozen and sent to the other stores across canada to be finished instead of making them fresh like Krispy Kreme here in Vancouver (Delta).

    Good job none the less.

  • They're baked, frozen, and sent to stores, where they're put into high-heat ovens and baked for 1-3 minutes, then decorated. :)

  • maybe not being able to spell 'truly' properly is truely canadian.

  • nice, good work!

  • it was truely Canadian, but then they finally put a franchise in the states, which pissed off every one in Canada, which to all you americans, is more than 500 people. Tim Hortons should have stayed solely in Canada,

  • What's wrong with spreading the joys of this product to other places? I think it was just you who was pissed off.

  • that beep is fucking annoying omg..lol

  • it's truly canadian, not truely
