I get 20mbps, and everything is instant, you have a slow computer. The 6 mbps at work is OK on my laptop, but some things are slower, esp. if I have to download something.

I live in Australia and at school with everyone connected i can manage to download a file at 3MBS. But then when i get home I get freaking 26KBS???????????????????????? 26!!!!!! KBS!!!!!!!!!

All you people complaining about 550KBS try living with my connection. Then try living with 26kbs and 4 people connected to it and one on Xbox360 Live.

It's not my modem and we don't have a router. It's something dead wrong with BigPond. It's not dial-up but dial-up is faster (dial up is 56kbs). :@

No, sorry but DSL uses the standart copper cable and go up only to 8.3 mb/s and your kidding 5mb up? dsl can't have that, the max you can have on upload is 1mb.
